the more i look at it the more use to it i get. still not in the same league as the international THING though imo.
it does look alot like a bowen museum pose though.

yeah, i thinking that also, there is going to be a flood of them on the bay, as well with everyone that's going to cancel, for one reason or another.(myself the $$ exchange is killing me)
there's going to be a glut of them all at once, look out for the discounts.

yep the price tag is definately on the steep side, but i just checked the specs on this one, and even though it's at 31"
tall, take off about even 5-6" for the flag pole that's till around 24" tall.
that's gotta be one of the biggest Comiquette's in any line, isn't it??
so it would measure up to the other pf's. size wise that is.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw it yesterday in the latest episode. I was just as pumped for this as I was the Stealth Comiquette. I was teetering on ordering the classic BD piece until I saw this.
I'm more than happy with this. Seems like the number of haters are limited, they're just really vocal (isn't that always the case?). It's getting tiresome hearing the same homophobic comments anytime you get a male character in a less aggressive stance sporting abs (e.g. 300).
I say, well done SSC. I like the flag too... I think it makes the piece more interesting.
Now I just hope I can afford to keep it in 1Q09

Its a nice looking piece... and I think the helmetless head makes more sense with the flag. Although personally a giant American flag doesn't really do it for me. But still a cool piece and nice seeing a classic design on him.
