What other statues are u thinking of keeping besides this one... IMO I think this is way underrated just because ppl don't like the classic look. Everyone wants a modern, I think this piece holds up better nostalgically!

I had 3 statues which came in this mth (Bowen Clear Iceman & Chrome Silver Surfer & SS's Iron Spiderman). Overspent & currently sourcing for Spiderman PF. So am thinking to skip this Classic Ironman.

I cancelled. I won't fit in with my collection and I'd rather save the money right now for other items down the road. (plus how awesome of a job SS seems to be doing on these IM peices (I got lucky with the 1:1) I don't want the chance) Good Luck to the Wait list and I can't wait to see pics.

I agree. I think once this gets in people's hands and photos show up with Iron Man posed with Cap, Thor, and Hulk people will be kicking themselves.

I was a naysayer when it was released for the world to see...I was like.....
Ewwww.....he's too wimpy, he's too feminine looking, his pose is of a runway model, I don't like the flag because i'm pissed off at my government at the moment....blah..blah..blah.
I have done a 360 and i'm on the WL for an Ex because he looks awesome on the BSP video from SS and I feel that he is now a must in my collection.
Well, that and whatever the name of the IM that Rommel is working on at this moment, War Machine Union Shop Guild of Contractors and Laborers I believe is the name.

I still like the IS but I ended up cancelling the WL because I already have the Spidey PF so at least he's still represented.
At the end of the day, I pretty much just want everything released to be honest with you so it's a daily battle of reality vs fantasy.
I have a SIM but now I feel the need to own a standing IM and while I would've preferred that SS had done a modern IM instead of the Classic, it still looks nice enough to own.
Who knows, one day down the road I may end up with an IS but for now it's CIM and Rommel's IM, just because his is of a modern design and looks insane with all that weaponary!
Bottom line for me, I will only will own PF's or Comiquette's or a custom in the same size range and mostly Marvel although I would be lying if I said that Leonidas and Conan PF's haven't peeked my curiosity.
Just ask Chap, he's my legal counsel and all such matters.....
Ohh, and just say NO.

It's 180 degree turn. 360 puts you right back where you started. 360 means you think he's a feminine runway model who loves his government.
