Keep it up man, I plan to do a "partial" clean on mine (when it arrives), so seeing your progress pics are very informative. :monkey3 :D

So another day and more slaving away :lol

I finished and completed one arm today..also finished one rib piece.

I'll update the 1st page with pics too.

The fingers are incredibly dirty...

awesome work my friend! :wacky

Looks great man!! You have some balls to do that!!

Also, if someone calls you up while you are working, do you say that you are "cleaning the old endo"?

Man, that's a hard trek ahead of you. I think that will take a few weeks worth of rubbing down.

At least your Endo will feel chilled and mellow after a long rub down!

So there is NO DANGER of taking out the Chrome finish with this then?

something along those lines :D

Nope, so far everything is going well, just like when I cleaned the combat endoskull. I'm using a chrome polish after going over it with the nail polish remover..its super shiny!

Look at you Felmar...being all productive! :clap

I'm to lazy to do all that work!
lol...productive in cleaning a collectible :lol

Amazing work bro!!! So, are there any dents in the metal for the battle damage effect, or is it just paint?
like tnaig mentioned...there are some, but mostly on the chest area and a little on the legs..I don't see any on the arms, shoulder or head.

just a quick question, what you going to do if you uncover a spot that has bad plating in an area thats allways seen? reason i ask is i have my terminator in the post now and im so tempted to do this but worry i will uncover something bad :(

i think that its best to look over the endo once thru to make sure that the plating is ok before starting with the cleaning.

think he's done that part already :naughty

Took a day off today..
saved a few brain cells :lol

yep..like tnaig mentioned..I did a quick overview to make sure there weren't any messed up sections.
so far it all looks good!

Keep going m8 but take a break once in a while.

Rushing things is always a recipe for things going FUBAR :banghead

that's a great question. I always thought that myself.

Didn't they originally introduce the Battle DAmaged Busts to re-coup their losses on the SUB PAR Chrome Bust.

What should I/you look for? I plan on getting a battle Damaged bust around Christmas time.

If you're looking to get a combat bust to clean...I can do it for you for a small charge..I even have an extra combat bust I can sell you. Lemme know!

Simply awesome :horror:horror

Good luck for the rest of the job :bow:bow:bow
Thanks, Chewee

So I worked on the left leg today...its coming along really nice. You can see in one of the pics the "battle damage" on the leg..its a small mark that can't be retouched. I don't mind it one bit..the shiny chrome is magical.
