It's a sad but true fact that the production piece will look nothing like this (And Sideshow still price these things so high !) as has been proved by people receiving their Han/Luke stormies. Damn shame, i hoped Sideshow would deliver top end Star Wars figures - but they very rarely do !

It is clear with the newer figures that Sideshow is putting much more effort into the product. We aren't just seeing jedi after jedi anymore with the same hand sculpts and similar dress attire. All they have to do now is improve paintjobs and take care of quality control issues.

well, to be fair, instead of seeing "jedi after jedi with similar attire" now we are seeing trooper after trooper and Imperial officer after Imperial officer which probably are more copy and paste than the jedi were.

i do agree though that better paint is one of the most pressing issues for them to address.

Looks like the EX is going to be priced at 99.99. So if you want Rotta with Anakin its going to cost you an extra $10 bucks . I'm going to still order it
with Rotta but I do think it kinda sucks .

I think that sucks. They've given similarly sized exclusives for free with other figures -- all of the severed heads for example.

yeah, I dont think thats fair to charge more. its actually more like a $20 item because of the 10% discount you can get from ordering the regular edition from Alterego or other online shop.

Also, remember when the HUGE mynock was only $5 more? And the scratching rat that came with the Bubo set? I don't remember paying extra for that. It can't be that much more plastic...

Yeah, I thought Anakin was priced a little high to begin with since he's light on accessories. But $10 extra for Rotta!

It looks like all the prices for exclusives are really skyrocetting now! $135 for Thrawn's chair, $80 for Indy's Fridge, $70 for the Ark...$60 for the idol pedestal seems like a bargain now!
