Yeah. The trench coat doesn't look bad, it's just further away from the classic Cobra Commander look that I remember. You know, like the one above in this thread (one the throne). Or this:

Agreed 100%. Tim Bradstreet is a *fantastic* artist, and its too bad that due to Devil's Due his name has become almost synonymous with "bad version of GI Joe" because it certainly isn't his fault. At face value his renditions of Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander are totally badass.

But for me I can't help but feel that displaying CC with the Devil's Due trenchcoat at least in part condones inclusion of the universe that brought us this:

...which at best is just a crap version of SS and at worst is one step closer to this:

Yuck.

Thank you to SSC for letting the DD influence end before they *did* get to Storm Shadow, keep 'em classic from here on out!
