Wish I could afford both lines, but nope.

If I cancel, do you guys think this will go on 'second chance'? Then I can use my points?
I don't think SE went on second chance and this being only $100 I don't see many who want this canceling. Also especially since he's one of the main figs of the the whole line up. This is just my opinion but that's the way I think it will roll.

And he had a pretty trivial exclusive. CC's staff is a must have.

I thought that too, but then I looked on eBay to see just how much demand there is... and the only EX CCs that have sold were the 89.99 (!!) ones. Is there that much hate for the badstreet version? I am kinda hoping it does goes SC so I can get him for much cheaper.
The first few Cobra Commanders didn't have a staff.
Why not both, Dutch is all u need for pred1 anyways, I would love the rest of the crew though. So far Joes are more stable.
I'm heading at both of them though.
There probably is that much dislike for this particular version of Cobra Commander. Personally, I am not fond of this version at all. I think the Resolute design for Cobra Commander was a great update. Borrowing from the Bradstreet design was just laziness on Sideshows part IMHO. The first few Cobra Commanders didn't have a staff. So it isn't that important of a piece for Cobra Commander. Just get the regular if you want it. If I wanted it, that is what I would do. Yo Joe!!
Still debating whether to keep this or go for the Predator 1 line instead. I have not got Snake Eyes yet.
He actually had it in his very first cartoon appearance in the original 1983 miniseries. Definitely a must have vintage throwback, IMO.
Remove the eurotrashy trench and I'm hard pressed to find any real issues making him unappealing. Even though the staff wasn't included with the original CC I'm sure if Hasbro had thought to include it with the exclusive mail order hooded version, they would have. It's a nice addition to his personality.
Well, they didn't see it necessary enough for the first twelve versions of Cobra Commander. Must not been that important to Hasbro. I don't like the design of the outfit. While not bad, it just isn't vintage CC or even a good update. Good for fans of the Devil's Due but not for vintage toy fan. Closer to the Hall of Fame 12 inch design though than the vintage one.
I'm just getting Dutch from that line unless HT makes a taller Predator.
Soooooooooo keep the Commander on order
Neither was Snake Eyes for that matter. As a matter of fact, looks like every figure they're releasing so far isn't an exact copy of the vintage line. But TBH, I hated the Devils Due run with a passion and I find myself liking these figures. All they need is a bit of futzing. If they're not for you though, there's always the Hasbro 12" lines (past and present) which I'm sure have closer likenesses for the "vintage" fans.
People said the same thing about Snake Eyes. But look how much the Ex is fetching...
I love the new line of figures except for the 12 inch versions. I won't get those and probably not that many collectors with be either. As far as Snake Eyes, he would sell in any version since he is the most popular character in the line. The only figure I am really fond of right now is Storm Shadow. The Cobra Trooper looks good but I wish the uniform was better tailored. Cobra Commander is my least favorite. So far I think I will get Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. After that, I may call it a day. The 3 3/4 inch line is doing great for the most part and satisfies my Joe cravings. Storm Shadow is a great update and a new design. Cobra Commander should of had the same opportunity. Each is there own.
