That is incorrect. The 25th line is continuing. Goto Hisstank to look at the new photos of the new Resolute and ARAH 25th line of figures.

Given the interview was with a Hasbro exec, you might be jumping the gun with that comment. I'll wait and see. I know Hasbro doesn't want anything interfering with the release of their movie products and did clearly state that while offering the movie products, all the other Joe lines they produce would be paused to focus on the movie. Afterwards, he stated that the lines would resume, but again, that while the picture was in theatres they would be focusing exclusively on the movie lines.

I know I read that too, but may be they had a change of heart after seeing early cuts of the movie. They started thinking "Hmmm...this movie really sucks lets get back to making toys." :lol I am excited about the new figures. Aren't you? The Resolute Destro looks awesome!!

I bought up all the Resolute figures (who wouldn't love them?!), but I'm talking about the toys based on the live-action turd. Remember the RoboDuke that was posted in one of the other threads? Yeah, Hasbro's banking on the toys to sell, or at least financially compensate for the suckass movie.

Yeah, but it seems alot of the stuff for the movie is rehashes and retooling of older vehicles and figures. I don't like some of the redos that Hasbro is doing. The Night Raven looks weak. Why didn't they just retool the old one like the other vehicles?

I've seen the 5-Pack and Comic 2-Packs but none of the single-carded figures of the main characters. I guess they leave the pegs quickly.

They've been out for about five or six months now.

No, I got the gist of it. Either way, good or bad, the tailoring at this point is speculation. That's the point lerath was trying to make.

I completely agree. Again, I wasn't stating my POV on the matter (because you can see that me, you and lerath666 all agree) I was just asking.

Have i ever asked that question about "good" tailoring on a prto? Yes, infact, i have. Medi-maul was the figure in question, I have no idea where the post is. ( might be on medi-world, might be here, likely on both)
Said the same thing about Medi Han a while ago too.
Comments about how "good" or "bad" somthing like tailoring, or paint work, or anything like that on a proto Is something that at best makes me roll my eyes, and at worst, rage enough to post about it.
A proto is just that,a Proto, TONS of things can change between the proto, and production, and people tend to forget that. ALOT.

i will, however, Say this. A negative comment about an unreleasd product is far more likely to be something i'll actualy comment on, and a postive comment about the same thing on an unreleased product is far more likely to simply get an Eye Roll from me.

Yeah. I was just curious. Because I rarely see anyone saying what you originally said about positive comments regarding prototypes. I guess everyone is just rolling their eyes! :lol

If we were limited to comments like "I can't wait to get it" or "I'm passing on the figure" for things that are unreleased, this place would be pretty dull.

I think its totally appropriate to say good or bad things about what you see in a prototype. Everyone knows things can change between proto and production.

As long as said comments are about the proto, but taking into account that things can change when the production piece comes out then fine. but asuming that everything will be EXACTLY the same as the proto is foolish. The idea with a proto is to get an idea what it will look like, not be exactly the same.

more resolute

Neet, who's the girl on the end?

Dial-tone

You guys really like the look of Lady Dial-Tone? I think her face looks terrible. Same with Roadblock. The other three look pretty cool.

I dont! I hate what Hasbro is doing with the joe line and making new franken-joes for the 25th (modern) line. Monkeywrench looks nothing like his character except maybe his outfit.I want the dial-tone I had as a kid...not the crap female version

I did see a bunch of bright spots in those joe/cobra 7 packs though.
