Sean long ( the guy with the thundercats toys & hot toys collection) said the whole thing is fake and staged. The girl friend is a huge toy collector too. In fact all the toys that you see in the show arent just his but a mix of his and his girl friends toys( on the show they make it seem like it is all his and she wants them out)

I think at this point we all know it's scripted or whatever, but I still like watching to see peoples' collections. Howie has some really interesting stuff in his. The Warhol book and R. Crumb prints were very cool.

I dont care if it's scripted, it isnt like there's a huge demand for a series that features other peoples collections. I will take any and all exposure whether it's good or bad. It does need to have some sort of premise or plot. An intervention is a better sell than "hey come look at this dudes collection for 20minutes". Where else am I going to get a chance to see a sideshow or hot toys or even a comic collection on tv.

The problem is that it makes collectors look like they have serious problems. Not unlike what the outlaw image has done to bikers, but at the polar opposite end of the "badass" spectrum.

I thought some one who has a toy job advertising would have a more impressive hot toys sideshow collection.. I see a lot of collections that are amazing in the show your shelves section. Just for some reason his collection seemed more kids toys ..Once i saw sideshow and hot toys quality over the old hasbro stuff i sold and traded up ..The only thing that put me off about his videos is bad voicing sorry ..but his girl is cute other then that good show somewhat entertaining......

I thought that dude was a pedo? Like accusations against him and everything. That girl he's with certainly doesn't look like a boy.

He has a pretty unique review style, especially with his ridiculous character impersonations. Good for him. Though it seems to me like anyone can be on this show. Autobot John needs to be next, that'd be gold.
