Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

I got the first Top Nut shirt in for Mark. It came out really great so I will be shipping his out and then we are good for the rest of the contests.

Devil, you will have one coming your way next month as well!

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

I'm sorry if this has been addressed before, but I haven't read all gazillion pages in this topic

today I added various collectibles to my stash, but when you do a "quick add", the condition is automatically set to "fair" (since that is the first one on the list).

Is there a possibility to make it "no condition set" or something, and preferably set that as a default until you actually set it to a condition?

I've never found this function to be difficult at all. To be honest, most likely you will set it to what your collectible's condition is. So it being on 'fair' doesn't really change much. In my opinion.

I don't see it as being a major problem but I add a default no option for that drop-down as well as some point.

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

I wouldn't say its a problem, but it's more logical if its not set to "fair" if you don't set a condition. As a database developer, I tend to spot such things.

but I must say, you made quite a great site so far. I'm curious as to what you're going to add in the future :)

Hehe I completely understand!

Thank you, I am glad you are enjoying it so far.

We have LOTS of great things planned.

I am pretty sure BG has a lock on this months contest!

Using Safari 6.0.2 in Mac OS 10.8.2

Just a heads up, but I can't get the page to stop processing (spinning wheel) when trying to add a collectible. Navigating to a new page will leave an empty draft.

Have not had the opportunity to test another browser/platform yet.

Thanks for letting me know! I have not had the opportunity to test fully on they combo so this is great. I will try some things and keep you posted.

Damn I tried it on Safari on the iPad and that seems to work, so it must be an issue with Safari on Mac.

Honestly, if I could tell you how ecstatic I am about this, you would probably shed a tear.

I'll be adding some more Buffy figures today. Have had a lot to deal with lately with my 2 sick kitties so I've been away.

Buffy is good people! :lecture

An excellent choice sir! ;)

I'll be logging soon Sexy. I'm back in the game with the Mythos line pulling me...

With Apple's new development schedule that doesn't really mean much anymore. The current version of Mac OS X is so full of bugs, Safari included, that it's really saddening - and maddening. I can honestly say that I've found more issues with the two last major OS releases than I have found with any non-beta/preview version of Mac OS since the first 10.0 - combined. And when 10.0 came out I used to test under Mac OS for a living.

Are you possibly working on a quicker method of inputting additions to the database? Perhaps an import feature of some sort?

Ya that sucks! Unfortunately I don't get to do as much Mac testing as I would like. I am going to be trying out this cloud based browser testing app tonight called Sauce Labs that should allow me to be able to test in any combination so I can figure out what is going on with your issue.

For your import question, do you mean the core collectibles database or stuff you are adding to your stash?
