Honestly, if I could tell you how ecstatic I am about this, you would probably shed a tear.

I'll be adding some more Buffy figures today. Have had a lot to deal with lately with my 2 sick kitties so I've been away.

That is great! It means a lot to me that I can put a smile on someones face.

No worries you have done a **** ton this month, I hope everything goes well with the cats!

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

Haha Minion. :)

Hmm, maybe I need to change my board name to Minion. Baha...no.

I do love those minions.

Haven't had as much time today as I would like. Currently running in and out trying to get these kittens I've been feeding used to me as we may have found them a permanent home, together!

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

For your import question, do you mean the core collectibles database or stuff you are adding to your stash?

Both actually. :) Because a lot of the stuff I would import to my own stash doesn't exist in the database. It would be a lot faster for me to stuff all the data into a delimited file of some sort (comma, tab, Excel, etc.) and then import. If you wanted it in (my)SQL format that would also be doable, but obviously that's not so friendly for everyone else. :)

I think this is something that is definitely possible. There are a couple issues we would have to address with each one.

For excel uploads for submitting collectibles to the database, each one will get checked for errors and then uploaded and put into either a draft or submitted status depending on if there were errors or not. This would also allow you to check for any mistakes or problems that might have occurred.

For excel uploads for adding collectibles to your stash, this one is a bit interesting. Right now we only support adding stuff to your stash that is already in our database however this MIGHT change in the future. If that is the case then I think this is very doable. Basically you would get a template, upload your stuff and then you could choose to link that collectible to an existing collectible in our database or have a standalone item.

I think these are both great things to add and will be put on the future list.

Also I did some testing with Mac and Safari and I see what you are seeing. There is a problem with Ajax requests, the content is coming back empty for some reason. This does not seem to be a problem with Firefox on Mac however, so if possible please use another browser until I can get a fix pushed out.

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

When I used to add a brand I could type it in, and it would say 'save.' I haven't seen that lately. :(

I can't add a brand for saving.

Re: Collection Stash: A collection catalog platform

When you are adding it for a manufacturer?

Take chucky for example. I had to put him under Trick R Treat. I can 'add' childs play but then I have to x out of the list after adding him because there's no 'save' button. And so when I try to then find it under brand after adding it, it's not there.

Can you screenshot that for me?

I see a save button.

I see a save button.

I used to as well, but cannot now. :(

It shows my addition (yes this isn't in the right place but it's for exaple) but it wont scroll down any further to show me the save button.

What browser, OS and screen resolution are you on?
