Yeah, they need to move to a bigger conference like TCU is doing. That way things work better for them because like you said its about money and teams don't want to ruin their seasons by losing early.

Couple good games today.

#7 Oklahoma State at #8 Texas A&M

#2 LSU at #16 West Virginia

You're probably looking at Boise State vs. LSU/Wisconsin/Alabama/Oklahoma in the BCS Championship game.

~Boise State just doesn't play anybody after the Georgia win.

Boise won't be in the BCS Championship game.

Right not they're projected to play LSU in the Sugar Bowl. That's a game I would welcome.....one of the best defenses in college football vs a high octane offense.

And as far as good games, right now the best game of the day is the Florida St vs Clemson game. It's going down to the wire.

We will see.

Boise St.

Tulsa (winning)
Nevada
@Fresno State
@Colorado St.
Air Force
@UNLV
TCU
@San Diego State
Wyoming
New Mexico

That's exactly why they won't get in the BCS Championship game. Compare Boise St's schedule to LSU's schedule. LSU will get in with 1 loss (unless it's the SEC Championship game) before Boise gets in.

They're talking about Jefferson being reinstated. I hope his ass stays off the team for good. Lee has proven he isn't the same (bad) QB he's been in the past. He's not gonna get the Heisman or anything, but he's proven he can be a solid game manager in big-time games, and can make big passes. With Jefferson, half the time LSU had to win in spite of him, and he's had plenty of opportunity to prove that he isn't gonna be a really solid QB at this level IMO.

Perhaps. I see LSU losing at Alabama but winning the SEC Championship game. At that point it will be a close call who gets to go. My bet is Boise State.

By the way, are you sure about that Titans pick over Denver. :panic:

Is that the guy involved in the bar fight?

I'm betting $2000 on the Titans pick...yes I'm sure.:horror

Boise needs to hope Oklahoma loses 2 games if they want in.

And if you think Bama beats LSU, who are the two teams you think will beat Bama in order for LSU to make it to the SEC Championship game?

When he gets reinstated, he'll quickly find out this is Lee's LSU Tigers team, not his. At best, he'll be used as a Wildcat option, nothing more.

As all my local friends say, the Big 10 is down this year.:rotfl

But, VVTF is a NDSU?:slap

BYU actually has their own TV network. :lol
Yep, there are lots of Mormons out there and they love them some BYU

Also, the so called "good bigger schools" don't want to take the chance of putting an excellent program like Boise State on their non-conference schedule because they could lose and ruin their season.

Boise State needs to move out of the loser Mountain West conference and go to the Pac-12.

Josh, sadly it all comes down to the money these days. Nobody wants to schedule a home and home series with Boise State because their stadium won't provide enough revenue for good visiting teams.
They also don't want to play on a field where the scool has made there uniforms match the field so players are harder to see.

1. I think Boise will get in if the so called good schools have 1 loss. I'll stand by that statement.

2. I just checked the ESPN standings. I had forgotten that both LSU and Bama were in the SEC West. :slap I'll amend my previous comment and say that Bama will go to the SEC Championship game. Just my opinion. But damn, that LSU defense is ferocious!

3. Wecome to Goofersville! :lol

I just found out that North Dakota State is in a lower sub-division. We lost to a Division I-AA school. :thud:

Proud to be a Gopher! :lol:rotfl:lol

Looks like they were a powerhouse 1-AA program in the 80's. :dunno

That just makes it worse. :monkey2

And now the Goofs play at Michigan next week. :slap

By the way, I got to see most of that OSU/Texas A&M game up here in Minnesota. Terrific match! Kind of felt sorry for that OSU receiver dropping the ball while going into the end zone.
