If they want to go undefeated their offense will have to improve. I just don't see them going undefeated with the way that offense is playing right now. I don't think anybody in the SEC will go undefeated this year.

Looks like Gopher's coach Jerry Kill is doing much better. He'll either be on the sidelines or up in the booth for today's game.

So now on to the less important things in life from last week.

New Mexico State ..28
Minnesota ............21

How the hell does this happen? At home! Check this out....

~Minnesota were 21 point favorites.
~New Mexico State lost to something called "Ohio Bobcats" 44-24 the previous week.
~New Mexico State had never beaten a Big 10 team.
~New Mexico State had not beaten a BCS team since 1999.

Some of us have lived in shame since 1983 due to this........

Nebraska ....84
Minnesota ...13

Well, onto 44 years of losing football. :wave

Welcome to Golden Goofers football. :lol

LSU doesn't have to go undefeated though. IF they end up with just 1 loss AND win the SEC Championship, they'll be in the BCS Title game. And most of it will have to do with their tough schedule, not solely because they're an SEC team.

It depends where in the season that one loss comes.

They said no.... right now, but it will happen.

Mizzery is already said to be headed to the SEC to die with TAM.

They more or less said to Texas but they know it's a package deal. Texas and PAC 12 couldn't get a revenue sharing agreement. Tx is either going to have to give up some $$$ or go I dependent.

I almost think Texas would prefer to go independent. I want them to give up some $$$ to be honest. Guess we'll see.

This is a bi week for the Longhorns so no Texas football for me. I'll try to catch a few other college games though.

They would be dumb to do so. They would have to pay lots of money to get big teams to come pay them so they had a chance to make a BCS bowl especially if all the super conferences come about. They will have very little chance to get ND treatment from the BCS , I doubt Nd would get that treatment now.

They will never give up the money. :slap

Agreed!

Couple good games today.

#7 Oklahoma State at #8 Texas A&M

#2 LSU at #16 West Virginia

You're probably looking at Boise State vs. LSU/Wisconsin/Alabama/Oklahoma in the BCS Championship game.

~Boise State just doesn't play anybody after the Georgia win.

The bad thing for teams like Boise is the bigger schools want them to come play there all the time. My guess its hard to get more than 1 really good game a year.

Also, the so called "good bigger schools" don't want to take the chance of putting an excellent program like Boise State on their non-conference schedule because they could lose and ruin their season.

Boise State needs to move out of the loser Mountain West conference and go to the Pac-12.

Josh, sadly it all comes down to the money these days. Nobody wants to schedule a home and home series with Boise State because their stadium won't provide enough revenue for good visiting teams.
