I might end up canceling my Colossus ex. I'm not too happy with the videos I've seen from Comic-con. Has anybody seen this piece in person? If so, do you think it's worth keeping? I'd appreciate some input from a fellow collector.

I saw it up close in person at the Con. If you like X-Men and you like fabric/premium format you gonna love this. He is HUGE. I don't know about you, but I have other x-men PFs, I just can not afford not to have him in my line up. He looks really good with the rest of the gang.
With only 500 ES, the EX will surely increase in value over time, if I were you I would keep your order, worst case scenario if you don't like it when you get it you can always sell it and get your money back AT LEAST.

yea, he looked awesome to me in person. if colossus and storm can come out looking the way the protos looked, it should really help re invigorate the xmen line after the rogue and psylocke debacles.
it's $400. you can probably get a reg somewhere for $360-370

Only if I was so lucky.
it really wasn't my fault. I was late into the game. They were already gone before I got in. I only want to display the ex head. Reg head is a pass for me. This guy will be mine one way or another.

I keep hearing about the rouge and psylock issues. What was the problem? Bad paint app or just overall poor quality?
rogue was poor paint and they made her ass nonexistent. psylocke was mainly poor paint lead to cracking and they changed her heads from the original protos.

Cool thanks good to know. I am just getting into this hobby and placed an order and will place some more. I hope they got it together it would suck to have this happened. Is sideshow pretty good at trusting collectors and accepting items back if they are faulty?

That's the nature of the beast. It's an ugly world out there. Now... I heard the EX people might cancel? Right now there's not even an option for waitlist. But, 
if a few EXs happen to find their way back into SS stock I'm all over it!

Agreed again! Looks like we are both on a roll! Yes I need this as well. I did get on the WL very early but SS sent me an email saying there's none left and it's sold out. But the weird thing is SS didn't cancel my WL out for good yet. It's still there.

I'm on the waitlist too but I never got any such email. Keep your fingers crossed.
