Arrived today. Happy with it. Only one slight problem (picture 4) you can see the little white peg was bent. I actually fixed it after the photos. No prob. Paint is good. The light up feature works great!! Really bright and the batteries are hidden away in the hand. Definitely looking forward to more of these busts.

Came out fantastic. This looked great at SDCC and it looks great now in hand. Wish I could have held onto my order, and actually if I had known the Aliens Power Loader was going to be as bad as it was, I would have kept this instead for sure. Too bad for me they were both shipping at the same time. And now I have nothing.

One question: Where is the on and off switch for the lighted hologram?

I got mine last night. All in all I think it's a beautiful addition to my collection. However theres two nitpicky things thats bugging me, and I see it on Scotts photos too, so it must be on the paint master.

Look at the white bicep armor at the bottom. The weathering right there drives me nuts. It looks like a couple of lazily airbrushed letter "X"s that don't make sense. Im sure Im over-analyzing it, but that area bugs me. Also on the orange belt pouch, the white weathering is not paint, they gouged into the statue itself and made scrape marks into the polystone material. My concern is much like that of a car having the paint chipped to the metal, will this area be affected in the long run. I thought sideshow did all of their weathering topical, this is the first piece I have seen where they scrape into the piece.

The button is black and on the underside of the hand.. on the pinky side towards the body... small and out of the way...

Looks great. Yeah the X's kind of bug me too. And they scratched into the polystone? Strange!

Unfortunately I had to cancel this a long time ago. Just doesn't fit into my collecting plans.

Wow! Thanks for the amazing pics. This is a fantastic looking sculpture. Love the weathering. Then again, The Gore Group always does top notch work.

I just got mine yesterday and it's a beauty. But it's HUGE! I was planning on putting it on the same shelf where I have my Gandalf Legendary Scale Bust, only to find out they're not the same scale. Why call them Legendary Scale Bust or LSB, when the scale is different? Does anyone know the logic behind the LSB series?

Regardless of the scale, it is a beautiful piece I'm glad I got it.

Eric

No, the X'es arent scratched in, I was just saying to Xs looked wierd.
When I first saw them, what came to mind is if you gave a clean statue to a child, handed him an airbrush and said make him look beat up. A kid might paint x'es and slash marks that don't look natural. This is the only area of weathering that really bugs me, its beautiful otherwise.

What I was saying is scratched into the polystone is the orange belt compartments. Parts of the white weathering is NOT painted on, it's actually gouged into the statue itself. My concern was flaking or any wierd discoloration down the road.

I gather that there's no rhyme or reason to it, but that it translates best as "Really Friggin' Huge." I'm pretty sure that Cody bust is 1/3 scale.

Believe it or not, I've never seen that movie. And I know next to nothing about it. (I know, I know. What rock have I been hiding under?)

1:3 Scale? Really? He is supposed to be 1:2 scale like the other LSBs....that is interesting.

It might be, Mike. I'm a horrible judge of scale of these types of things. And as this is my first (and likely only) LSB, it makes it even tougher for me to call.

A friend has requested that I take pics of Cody next to one of my 12" figs, so I plan to do that tomorrow at around midday. I'll post it here when I'm done. That might help you all to judge.

Either way it looks fantastic. If they do the Old Ben as it was done in conceptuals I'll have to get that too. I really regret canceling this.
