Detailing and paint job. Looks like a lot of fine detailing isn't present on the auction sculpt and the paint job looks much cleaner and simpler and less realistic than the final prototype.

One BIG difference is that the arm holding the Sidious hologram has a totally different position.

Just noticed that the edition size is set on Cody, and kind of lower than I expected, at 800. I was expecting more around 1500, which would allow me to easily cancel and pick him up later when in hand pics were here and we have at least one more announcement in the LSB line for Star Wars. I really don't like the way any of the concepts we have seen look, but the Cody is stunning. I'm going to have to stick with this one, and maybe he can be my only Star Wars item in my collection. Well besides the signed Ralph McQuarrie art book from Dreams and Visions Press. That thing is just amazing.

This stinks--so much for Q1 2010. There's absolutely no way that I can drop $300 on this the week before Christmas with all the other shopping I have to do for others in December. Maybe there will be a second chance offer available in late January when the funds are freed up again, but I couldn't even swing an initial Flexpay in the next three weeks and still have presents under the tree for my kids.

I was really anticipating this, but as a 2009 arrival it's not happening for me...

Yes I just hope something in Quarter 1 gets delayed. It is seriously packed right now. I wonder if the Anakin Asajj dio will ship this month too?

Yeah I got my notice saying mine would be processing the 21st.
I can't imagine Sideshow is covering faster shipping to get these delivered before Christmas, it's just wierd timing altogether, considering the holiday weekend next week.
