I love the look of those LSB sketches, especially Maul, he looks pretty stunning. The curved cloak base is also a practical and nice idea.

Ordered a Cody LSB, so I guess I'm back into another Star Wars line. Looks excellent, although I'm not too sure about the proto sketches. Will have to wait and see with this line and be selective. Sure do like the prospect of a Maul in this scale. Think we will get a Vader?

Not anytime soon. I think SS will want the 1:1 Vader to be there only Vader bust for awhile.

I agree....

I like the direction this line is going in, something different than just a 1:2 torso-up bust. Def. has a style i think will work great with many characters in both the prequel and OG SWs

While some aren't a fan of the "cut" body I love it, it makes me wish they did this design with the Marvel LSBs, it'd be nice to get more the figure and more of the design incorporated into the piece.

Josh, did the Sidious hologram seem to be the same size as the SDCC Exclusive figure, it looks like it's the same one, I'm just curious if it is the same mold used to gauge the size of the piece.

Yeah, but, to be honest, I was blown away by this at SDCC from any and every angle. The slice did not bother me in the least. It will be very hard for me to resist going through with this order. The only thing that scares me is the follow up pieces to this do not look as great, sadly. And I know we have only seen concept sketches.

Going to go bid on the prototype now, thanks for reminding me!

Sorry, but Gentle Giant sucks, sucks, sucks...

You can kind of tell this by the fact that their booth shrank to half its former size this year, and they are totally unable to move product anymore!

Gentle Giant may suck as a company, and a number of their products come out crappy, but their Cody bust is one of their best. For what it is, it's a great bust, and for what it is, the Sideshow LSB is a great bust.

What would you have done differently? I think this thing really pops and needs to be seen in person to get the full effect.
