Hey, Paul. I just found the PERFECT suit for the Bond figure. Looks exactly like the one from the cover of the book. I got it on eBay last night.

Just have to dye it that blue from the book.

I need to start the HS soon, too.

Wow, I can't wait to see the Bond finished, since this community is so knowledgeable can I hijack this thread for a second?

I want to make a kitbash from my favorite Arnold movie TRUE LIES. I want to make a Harry Trasker figure from the upcoming 12" Terminator 2 Arnold figure, since Harry traditionally wears just a suit and tie or tuxedo is there an SSC figure that it would easily transfer over to? He will be on the big boy body right? Any ideas?

Thanks and now back to the regularly programmed thread. :D

wow daniel craig is a very wanted headsculpt....

 hm.....

but won't sideshow make one pretty soon since they have that license?

Hopefully, but it seems like Craig might be jerking them around on the likeness approval.

Hey, Jedi_Mike -

If you want to use a SST body specifically - I'd use the JAWS figure from the Bond line. The build is great - he's 14in tall - and he comes with a nice outfit (no jacket, thoug - but that could work with Harry Trasker - if you make it from towards the end of the movie).

I think SST does have the license, but I want to try to do my own. Plus - the protos I've seen so far doesn't look anything like Craig.

Plus - I'm being paid to make this figure.

I'd love to see where you are up to at the moment!

Hehe. No problem. I did a quick search on Ebay and there are alot of them available, but not exactly cheap.

I saw one loose figure available on toyanxiety.com a couple weeks ago. It's gone now, but it's bound to show up for a good price.

lol. I haven't even started on the HS. I've just been gathering reference pics and hunting down the body and the outfit.

I still need a gun for him. Would you happen to know what gun he used in the movie? Or did he not have his trademark PPK yet?

I should have a HS prototype done in February.

His trademark weapon in this movie is the Walther P99 fitted with a silencer. The best production gun in this scale is the SS Walther from the Brosnan Bond. However, this gun does lack detail but it is the best I have seen. I own the actual gun, and it's a great gun to have if you are into that sort of thing.

Cheers,

Brad

Here is a picture I snagged online.

Thanks, Brad! My younger brother is the gun lover in my family. I've only handled a gun twice in my life - Colt 45 and Desert Eagle - both at a shooting gallery.

I don't have the nerves for it. I was doing everything (loading, etc.) super slow - like I was handling dynamite. lol

I'll hunt around for a 1/6 P99. I'll use that pic you posted to sculpt one if I can't find it.

Thanks. Tin
