Dan Harmon did a revealing interview in Marc Maron's WTF podcast awhile back where he spoke about, among other things, how he was fired as show runner from the Sarah Silverman Show. I got the sense that he was at peace with his exit because he was green and didn't know how to run a show and deal with all the personalities involved and how to control his emotions. Sounds like he still has a way to go.

I hope the new guys can reclaim some of the feel of the first couple seasons of this show. Loved those seasons! Yet I found the last season to be hit and miss.

By the way, the WTF podcast of Starburns was insane!

Not crazy at all. Why people assume the worst in situations is beyond me. I hope/wish for the best in what the next season can be.

For myself I really haven't enjoyed the last half of this season as much as the previous 2 seasons. I hope the change in management can bring the show back to something I can enjoy as much as I used to.

I think that Dan is at peace with the decision because not only has Community been a really rewarding project for him, but the amount of love that the fans have shown him in the past week has been truly incredible. He's a great guy and he'll find success with his new show, Rick and Morty which is coming to adult swim.

Wouldn't it be crazy if the show got even BETTER...?

Or is this the darkest timeline now...?

I hope it does, this past season seemed really hit or miss for me. This is one of the only TV shows I care about right now besides Big Bang and Parks and Recs so I really would like it to succeed.

Is NBC cutting down the episodes since there is a new showrunner to see how it does?

So, a new gif is making the rounds. I'm like 99% sure it can't be posted here, but umm, go to uproxx.com and make sure you're not at work, or in church.

Hilarious, sexy and awesome.

Eh, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty disappointed. I thought it was going to be something to do with Alison Brie wearing very little. That being said, if she's comfortable enough with her sexuality that she pretends she's playing with...well, just watch the gif, maybe it won't be too long before that becomes a reality. :dunno

If you watch the blooper reel they took the gif from it gets better when she gets 'stabbed in the back'. ;)

"... in the next few weeks, we will announce new season premieres of Whitney and Community” doesn't sound like an emergency to me. :dunno

Don't watch this show, but I feel bad for you guys who love it, because it moved to the, what I like to call Primetime Hospice.

Friday's are a certain death for TV shows.

:(

True. Although Parks and Rec is still going well IMO.

The Office is dead already, it just didn't get the memo.

True, although Parks and Rec is a standard show - just done really well. Although I think its ratings are as bad as ever this year.

And surprisingly, The Office has pulled it together a little so far this season. No doubt due to Daniels coming back. It's not what it used to be, certainly, but this season has been better than the last few seasons, probably since season five.

I think it's on par with how bad it was. I don't want to turn this into an Office thread, but I just don't like what they did with everyone.

But we'll see. It could pull through. And I know you guys love this show, so I hope it pulls through. And when it comes on Netflix, I will indeed watch it.
