According to the records I got Legacy Connery. But what was in the box was another Legacy Brosnan. :monkey2

And my UPS driver is especially anal this week and even though the package wasn't over $100 he wouldn't deliver it and I had to drive down to UPS and pick it up. Of course they hadn't put on hold the 4 other packages being attempted as I'd requested. So I have to go back tomorrow.

I hate UPS. (But FedEx is worse).

I canceled this Bond partly due to funds but also due to the fact I'm hoping that we'll get a Thunderball Bond 1/6. That always was my favorite Connery look....

My gut tells me this is the finale of the 1/6th Bond line...

You are probably right, Wor-Gar. I feel it too. Sideshow is all but done with 1/6 now. It's pretty much $tar War$ from here on out save maybe a few more LOTR. Bond is as done as Apes, X-Files, Angel, Buffy, and Highlander.

I'm confused--- I ordered three of the Legacy Bonds (Connery, Moore, & Lazenby) and of the three Connery is supposed to ship first (and it says shipping soon for him in my SS profile) however the shipping soon confirmation identified Lazenby shipping soon--- and that one still shows Pre-order... Is a package going to arrive and instead of the Connery (or even Lazenby) am I going to have a gigantor hands Brosnan?

Anyone else get the wrong Legacy Bond as a confirmation of shipping soon?

My Connery comes tomorrow! Need to make a red carnation.

Did you get an e-mail confirmation saying Connery or did they identify the wrong one?

I think maybe I got Lazenby (in the e-mail) because he was the first one on my list (in my profile)--- oh well.

Any ideas how t make the red carnation? That's what I want to add as well.

I just ordered SC, so it's SC. Carnation? Should be a no brainer, just haven't had time to think about it yet.:lol

Isn't that white tux almost identical to the one Indy wore in Temple of Doom? I thought it was Spielberg's homage to Bond.

Sorry about the slowness with the production photos... the Lazenby sample arrived first, and we didn't get the Connery until a couple days ago when the full shipment came in... sometimes that happens. Perhaps that is what confused the processing as well? We'll get them up soon, probably for next week's newsletter :duff

So, did SSC add a red carnation as so many of us asked?

EDIT: Just found some in an old dry flower basket my Mom gave me years ago. Got Carnation!

Thanks for the info Dusty--- I don't care if Lazenby shows up (well I do kind of as I really want to add Connery in white tux to the growing Bond poker game I've got going) as I have him ordered as well.

Glad I got him.
Tux jacket and shirt are nice. Paints apps great!
Sorry, too busy for more pics now. :D

I'm glad these are coming with the Star Wars gun hand. It can actualy hold the PPK nicely where as the old hands couldn't.

I agree! I've been using my excess Star Wars hands to switch over, but don't have enough, it would be nice if we could buy new hands to replace the old ones on all of the figures. Especially that hand that is flat, so much nicer than having the curled hand when it is down by his side. My Moonraker Moore looks like he's about to shoot a poison dart in to his palm.
