Could Large Statues Handle Earthquakes?

More specifically, large statues with a prop supported only by a metal rod attached to a base, like the XM Studios Batgirl below. It looks like it's only attached at the ball of her left foot, and the statue is 25'' high weighing about 27 lbs. I keep imagining a large earthquake (I'm in the west coast) would break either the foot/lower leg, or the metal insert. I have a 1/7 scale resin model with a similar pose that's much smaller at about 2 lbs and watching it shake holding the base gives me goosebumps. Or am I just being paranoid?

Nah, your statues are safe.
An earthquake will level a city, but it's not a match for a statue, no worries.

Short answer is no. If you can find something thats not built out of solid steel that will survive an earthquake you will be a billionaire overnight. That statue is gone in any good shaker.

The statue will remain in one piece up to a 10 on the richter scale but it may get a little wet with all of the broken water pipes and stuff.
