Count Dooku PF @ SDCC 09

This is all a result of Lucas making ^^^^ up as he goes along. Hell, not long before filming of AOTC began Dooku was going to be a FEMALE character similar to Ventress!
The PT is a contrived farce.
I guess I'm a bit of a PT apologist but even still it boggles my mind that with so many years of prep time GL didn't have a more cohesive vision of the PT *before* each individual film began preproduction.
HUGE potential existed for characters like Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and General Grievous and its like he just kind of threw them in the scripts a few weeks before shooting after seeing some illustrations from his concept artists.

I have been wondering the same thing. Then he wouldn't have had to go back and butcher the OT so it fits the PT.
Yeah, the PT definitely should have been molded around the OT, not the other way around. If George wanted Boba to be a clone of Jango then he should have found an actor who's voice closely resembled the gravelly voice of Jason Wingreen (the uncredited voice actor of OT Fett.)

You really would think LUcas would have put more time and thought into what was going to happen in the PT. Imagine if he had extensive timelines and notes like Rowling has with Harry Potter. The movies would be great. Well if he had that somone else to direct.

For what it's worth I asked my distributor (my local shop) who has a SSC account about this and they said that they have not received any information about any con exclusives. Take this SDCC thing with a grain of salt.

Perhaps SS will take this as a sign that there's GREAT interest in these 2 and make them ASAP!

Well there's still a decent chance Dooku PF will be coming. Someone posted a bit of Q & A with sideshow where they said there would be a PT PF coming, and it wouldn't be Qui-Gon. The most likely candidates I can think of are Dooku, Padme (or Amidala), or ROTS Obi.
I had a feeling it was a joke. It just never seemed likely that we would be seeing two Chris Lee PFs at once. Plus the fact that the teaser pics were just publicity stills with some ketchup on them.
