I honestly forgot about Cornerstorecomics and I haven't ordered anything from them before. Are they a reliable place to order from? BBTS already shipped out my Powergirl so it's too late now for her but I may order other things from them in the future.

well I can't wait to see you jazz her up. cornerstorecomics is pretty reliable. They had one little snafu two years ago but since then I have never had any issues. i tend to call in when i am ordering items unless I pay through paypal

Corner Store Comics has about the same prices as BBTS, but Discount Comic Book Service had a better price for them.

For example: $70.94 shipped for my PG.

Only problem with DCBS is you have to order right away as soon as it comes available for PO on their site.

I just checked and they don't have Ivy or Harley up for PO anymore.

Yup, when forced with a decision to either eat or get a statue, I usually go with the statue!

Well I got in my Powergirl and she's gorgeous!! She's pretty much even with Wonder Woman in my opinion, maybe even passing her just a little, but I just love them both so much.

I did my usual gloss treatment on her. I put a gloss on her hair, gloves, belt and boots. I didn't get a chance to take pics today though and I probably won't be able to until Sunday. Even though I'm sure just about everyone has her already, I thought you guys might want to see how the gloss turned out.

I just wanted to say one more time how much I absolutely LOVE these statues!!

These are too small a scale for mixed media to work. Sculpt and paint can sometimes (very rarely) achieve levels of realism almost approaching a mixed media piece. But it doesn't happen often.
