There are many boards that are more peaceful than this one - and the members seem happier without the trolls in their midsts.

This isn't a notice for some that get occaisionally heated when expressing their opinion, but for members that consistently go out of their way to antagonize.
And I'd agree with Captain Faramir - many of the flair ups are due to people getting defensive. If they would just ignore the barbs aimed at riling them up, then many of the long threads of insults would be avoided.

I have to admit that I've been a little gun shy to post on the board especially since it's rare to find a thread where venom hasn't been spewed. But all 'n all, I do enjoy the board since it's not only entertaining (some of you truly crack me up) but it's also informative. I just wade through all the negativity, name-calling and arguments to find the constructive posts.

I figure, boys will be boys (I don't mean to leave the girls out of this but it's just a figure of speech) so I just skim through the negative posts and I just don't add fuel to the fire. Imagine that! An "Evil Woman" that keeps her mouth shut!

I appreciate Dave's effort to send a general warning to those "who consistently go out of their way to antagonize." Hopefully, this warning will get this board back on a positive track. Otherwise, Dave may need to provide us all with Diversity training.

Dave is Dark because he broods so much. He doesn't play favourites. He is open to discussion and he's a very intelligent man. He will take the time to listen to you and your complaints, and act accordingly, which may or may not be to your liking.

The line in the sand wanes and waxes. As the grey area becomes wider, the line needs to be redrawn. Cracking Down is just his way of warning that something is getting out of hand and something will be done about it. Time to keep your crack down and your head up, so no mooning, or you'll get your butt smacked whilst your pants are down. Still, he is dark, and 'you know who you are' is just a paranoia tactic, to make people wonder if he's talking about them in particular. Well guess again, he's talking about you.

If he comes down heavy handed on you, be assured he is coming down on the other parties involved as well. Being that he doesn't take sides, I dare say any bannings will cut both ways, and all parties involved will cop the same consequences. So before you go reporting to him, which I would never recommend, be sure of your involvement.
