Your constant negativity saddens me. Actually this whole thread saddens me. If it wasn't for "certain people" this thread wouldn't even exist. You know who you are. This board used to be great, but you people have ruined it for members like me, who stay out of other people's business and mostly stay on the sidelines. I rarely even post, let alone purposely cause trouble. The way the board has been lately, I want to post even less than I already do now. We all know when we have gone to far, but the truth is that EVERY single message board on the net has both threads that are peaceful and threads that are filled with insults and name calling or just plain bickering. It's a FACT of the internet and it's never going away.

Dave can ban people left and right if he wants, but more people will join and that type of stuff will always go on. Simple fact is Dave keeps saying "you know who you are" in this thread, but I wonder if someone like The Josh is even on Dave's radar. I'm calling that name because it was MY latest argument. Josh was the one who started name calling and making it personal, but I bet all Dave see's it ME as being the cause because I am one who "knows who he is".

This isn't directed at Josh, but it is directed at Dave. If you're going to start banning people Dave make sure you READ a thread and see where something started. There are people here who you may think of as trouble makers, but there are also people who you probably love and their ^^^^ stinks too. Just remember that.

Again, Josh, I am not picking on you here ok? You were just my last argument so it's easy reference material. I just don't want Dave to only pick on those he thinks of as trouble makers.

Hey Kit, I know you and I have had our differences, but I respect you a lot right now for this post. You actually had the balls to post this up because this is exactly how ive been feeling.

I recently got a pm from Dave telling me not to argue with Josh. It all started from me quoting one of josh's posts where he basically said that no hot toys or takara figure has ever wow'ed him. This implied that he thought only sideshow figures wow'ed him...and I simply stated that. Needless to say, Josh probably went to Dave crying about me so dave took action by sending me a pm.

I just think that for Dave, having a superfan like Josh on your board can serve more good than bad when it comes down to being the "official unofficial" Sideshow message board in the eyes of the prize company.

A lot of stuff gets put on us, but IMO there are way more people who are passive aggressively the main culprits than those of us who are more direct to counter act their BS.

A lot of stuff gets put on us, but IMO there are way more people who are passive aggressively the main culprits than those of us who are more direct to counter act their BS.

I think it's good that Dave has brought this to our attention, but personally, I'm no friend of censorship (or banning...). So I suggest that, in stead of giving Dave the pleasure - or burden, depends how you look at it - of wielding his pimp cane, we all should exercise CONTROL.

While I agree 100% with this statement, isn't it difficult to know when someone is joking or not? I mean take the Brotherhood for example. We spend half our time ripping on each other but it's done all in good fun and we have our own boundaries and generally police each other. Just curious how stuff like this will be policed by you.

I really do hope this is directed at the passive-aggessive vibe as well as the people who insult in CAPS.
There are threads I really want to follow, but I can't hang in because I see the same people luring other people into arguments with smileys and condescending comments. Making it worse is the fact that they repeat themselves and quote themselves about every 10 posts, just in case the people they're baiting didn't see it the first time. And I'm not talking about one incident.
I don't want to see anyone get banned, and I appreciate Dave's position. But there's all kinds of behavior that contributes to the problem, not just blatant name calling. Just because you end your post with a doesn't make you innocent.
But just to be safe....
