Come to think of it I've had one problem with a Medicom figure... at least the recent ones (old late 90's figs had terrible bodies). My Spawn figure came from the factory missing one of the leg extenders and the place I bought him from was already sold out.

Luckily a freak had an extra one and sent to me for free :duff

yeah so I pulled pretty hard and no go, didn't come off. It's weird how I'm yanking on this thing and it won't come off yet the leg breaks for no reason.

I had 2 parts to mine...I was kitbashing him with a Marmit Fett, so I had to crack the glue loose at the top first. Basically have to wiggle the head inside from side to side - there's a square peg glued inside the helmet at the top.

Once the glue cracked off, I heated the blank head underneath with a hairdryer to soften it, and then pull it off.

With luck, maybe you can jsut heat yours up with a hairdryer and pull the whole thing off. Be sure to watch the range finder when pulling!

Denger use a hair dryer ( on a low setting) to warm it up under the helmet on its neck then try to pull it off

Don't expect Medicom to respond the way Sideshow does. They don't at all, at least in my case. :monkey2

My Jango Fett came with one missing blaster and my Boba Fett has a few small items missing. I wrote to them countless times but its like my emails getting sucked into a blackhole. Nobody at Medicom ever responds. That is why I cut off on buying Medicom items after the Jango and Boba Fett Figures. Enough for me. :banghead :banghead :banghead

Thats because Medicom is in Japan and they will send replacements to Japan customers.

You should contact whoever you bought it from to get another replacement.

I'm scared of my Medi figures, especially the awesome Comic Spidey. Haven't had a drama I can recall right now other than my first Medi figure. The Rocketeer. His head fell off when I went to pose him flying. I had to laugh. Luckily nothing broke. Really I've had more breakages with my crappy Hot Toys and their fragile figures, but nooooo you can't speak evil of Hot Toys, well evil enough for anyone to put up their guard.

Did someone mention comic book spiderman?

I've had some issues with my Hot toys Leon, now that you mention it, he's got a carpy neck joint .

Same happened to me when I checked my Medicom Boah figure for flaws. He's allright, but the head fell off... just like that. Had to push it back on the neckjoint.

See, that's where i say, I don't give a damn. If there's a problem with an item, I don't care what company it comes from. I just tell what the problem is. And, although most of my collectibles come from Sideshow, I really don't care who makes 'em, as long as I like 'em. But there's one thing that's really important to me, and that is customer service, and how they treat you. So far, Sideshow EUCS is the best in the world. They have always helped me. Ok, sometimes I had to insist, and at the moment I'm waiting for an answer on a problem I mailed them nearly 2 weeks ago, but still, the EU CS usually does what they can to help.
SAme counts for the HT CS. So far, I've only had one problem with an HT figure, but HT helped me right away. Can't say anything about Medicom's CS, since all the issue's I had with their figures - and there where a few- were solved by the SSC CS.

But no matter how good the customer services of SSC is, some aspects of their enterprise still need work.
- It's unbelievable that European (and international) customers receive their items only three to eight weeks after they have payed for them. That money should be working for me during that time. It's even more annoying since we pay $45+ shipping fee for a simple 12" figure.
- Sideshow is getting to expensive for 12" figures, no matter from what manufacturer they are selling.

I had issues with Secura, it took a week for SS's EU dept to contact me and theyve promised me a replacement part will be sent

Im in the UK, SS is in the States

Medi sells internationally so does SS,
why can SS do it and not Medi ???

and SS figures are cheaper than Medi to boot

Medi doesn't sell internationally, they allow distributors to do so. Going by your reasoning, if you buy a Medi figure from Sideshow and it's damaged, send it back to sideshow or any other online retailer for that matter. problem solved, stop whining.

And another obvious point that you missed is that Sideshow has an EU warehouse.

What Nash said is correct, Medicom only distribute their products to the official distributors for sale. Whenever I had any problems, I would bring back to my local retailer for an exchange. He told me that he will just send the faulty figures(whether its Medicom,SS or HT) back to the distributor/manufacturer etc.

Medicom ever replied my email when I asked them for a replacement, they said that they do not deal internationally and advised me to contact whoever I bought it from for an exchange

Tell me bout Hot Toys, my RE4 Leon came with a hand with half the fingers chopped off. Joker was missing a sock, Superman ver 1 had a really loose arm.

I think problems are bound to happen, cos there is no such thing as a perfect company.

Tired that too, I think I'm just going to give up and deal with my broken boba, and maybe one I have some spare cash I'll buy a new one and sell my old at a discount. Unless there is any takers now? :D
