I found the head on Boba came off very easily... kind of like the Comic Spiderman.
Yup...wiggle it side to side alot in the helmet as well until the glue cracks. It took me some time as well but did come out eventually.
You're just not pulling hard enough and keep using the blow dryer.

I think a lot of breakage issues also stem from the fact that the Medi-body has a completely different construction than other bodies. Of course the plastic is a bit brittle, but if you pull and twist the articulation in the wrong directions or apply force in the wrong manner it puts a lot of stress on the articulation, compounding the problem of brittleness.
For instance, I've noticed that the cut joint on the biceps is usually very very tight, so when you try to twist the arm you usually end-up forcing the shoulder joint.
Now every time I use that joint in a pose, I firmly hold the upper biceps while twisting, so as to not force the shoulder.
