I gotta look at it that way or else I will be kicking myself for a very very long time.
Also I don't think Sideshow is going to do this code/deal again. It seems like they intended it to be used by a very small audience and once that code got out to the public I think a lot more sales happened than they intended.

Well they offered the 20% off Tax Day discount with some of those figures for a few days last week until last Friday I believe. Didn't the 40% off deal only last very briefly?

Beats me. Not quite sure when that deal began ... I previously got TDW Thor with free shipping and extra rewards in addition to 20% off with a code I don't even recall and within a couple of days, the extras were gone. All speculation on my part.

Possibly to comply with laws, you can't have something on sale perpetually, otherwise it isn't actually a sale, it's the regular price, and you're subject to claims of false advertising.

Yes, WOLVIE15 is good until May 1st unless there is another 20% out there. Unfortunately I already used it this month so hopefully some stuff is still there when a new one comes out.

That may be true in Canada but not so in the US. All they would have to do is provide proof of purchases at the regular full price, which no doubt they'd have plenty of, to show that it is indeed discounted. A sale price could last until all stock is exhausted without ever needing to return to full price. That's how they get away with it. Plenty of shady retailers across the US pull games like this, but perfectly legal. They try to make people feel like they got a great deal meanwhile it's been discounted for ages.
