They put Bruce Banner back up to full retail and took off the free shipping. Not saving a thing. Boo!

Although I agree it sucks they raised the price back, you still would have saved quite a bit. 40% off $189.99 makes him $113.99. He was $170.99 on sale, so $150.99 with the $20 coupon. Still quite a savings, even when you have to pay for shipping...

I would have bought Tony Stark Mechanic or Bruce Banner or Heartbreaker... Possibly two of them by having my friend place an order... It's a shame we didn't know about the coupon sooner... Hopefully it will come back when AOU is released.

Why else would they promote a code using GMT time unless it was geared for those countries during the week that they get the movie in theaters? I'm getting more and more confident about this ha

Yeah that was me. Wallet said good until the 24th.

I can confirm that it did say it was good till the 24th in my wallet also. . I ordered Spiderman earlier in the day with a 20% off coupon and saw a few hours later I could've got him for 40%. But by the time I tried to cancel (3 or 4 hours later) my order was marked as shipped. Now he's backordered anyways.

Now shows as a pre-order shipping in May.

Speculation but I'm pretty sure it'll happen since it makes perfect sense. I know that doesn't mean much but I'm hoping I'm right. Were there any freaks in the US who got a notification about this code via email?

Nope. ;( It was a limited distribution code for attendees of Marvel Fans Assemble for the Ultimate Marvel Movie Marathon Presented by Nerdist Industries | News | Marvel.com in Hollywood. Nerdist for some reason posted it on FB with the wrong end time.

Not going to work out for those who waited, myself included.

I was going by the 20% off that they had not too long ago. With the $20 they charge for shipping, I wasn't saving anything. Both the 20% off sale price with free shipping and the 40% off full retail with shipping came to about the same thing. I was debating on getting it anyway, but it went off too quick. Maybe later if they put it back up. Haven't heard if there will be a AoU Banner.
