But I completely agree, that if this policy exists, it's imperative that Sideshow maintain the shopping cart system such that it can deal with these restrictions (by not allowing one to waste/lose points) - it's certainly a very simple programming solution.

Well, I must've lucked out because my order already shipped this morning, my card was charged $3.75 ($205 - 201.50 in rewards + tax) and I recieved an invoice email that my order had processed with the rewards points and free shipping applied. If they retroactively try to screw me, it would be insanley stupid of them to hassle someone who spent enough money in a year and a half to get $200 in reward points over the $15 for free shipping I supposedly shouldn't have gotten.

And just the thought that you could lose all of your reward points because their system allowed you to add reward points to an order with free shipping is absolutely insane and serves no purpose other than to screw people who take their website at face value and don't read fine print. Of course, that's why fine print exists, but that is a case of not operating in good faith as tthey effectively are baiting people to lose points.

Now, I have run into orders that had free shipping where it simply wouldn't let me use reward points, and that's fine. Maybe since they put free shipping on so much yesterday, the system wasn't properly updated. Regardless, hopefully I don't have an angry call to sideshow in my near future.

LOL you guys are too funny. As I've said many times, the Twitter contests are the way to go. Of course it doesn't hurt to be creative with Photoshop. I actually made sure that my Spidey figure was in there, just in case they wanted to say "you already have one" and disqualify me. But since I won, and my Son loves Spiderman, this might have to be the beginning of his Hot Toys collection.
