I wouldn't buy the Power Pose Mark XLII on my own but if I would win it I'd keep it. Mostly because I plan to keep the diecast figure in the battle damaged look so I wouldn't mind a second one to keep clean. Oh well though.

Well if the Power Pose Mk 42 didn't do it for you guys, maybe an Iron Man Legendary Bust would be more useful?

I honestly think the person who won the Mk 42 Power pose got kind of cheated. I mean, come on, not the actual diecast figure but a fixed pose statue? Granted it looks nice. But still, oh well. I actually got told by Susan to message her on the Tony Stark Mechanic giveaway and she told me I'm one of three runner ups. She says I'm getting a War Machine Bust as a prize. I'm hoping it's the bigger one. I don't really collect busts, but I'll take it, the bigger one looks nice anyway. And Susan is pretty cool anyway, we talked a little about the giveaways actually.

Before she can announce any winners publicly, she has to hear back from the winner that they agree to the terms of the contest (ie paying shipping and if you're outside the us, customs). Once she hears back that they have accepted, she can announce it. She has announced a few so far tonight.

On my Wolverine PF statue, I only won it because someone else won it first and never replied to their message to accept.

yes......BUT......if you didn't already know this:

Go to Facebook
Click on the icon at the top that opens up your PMs (looks like two speech bubbles)
At the bottom of that window click on "See all"
At the top left of the new screen find the "Inbox" and "Other" at the top left of your screen.

Most PMs that you get from friends go to the Inbox, and you get alerted whenever a new message goes there. What a lot of people don't know is that some messages, usually from people you aren't friends with, go to the "Other" box and you DON'T get alerted.

If you have anything in that Other box, you may be surprised what you find in there, and how long it's been there.

Check it out.

I actually didn't know that... thanks for the info! Nothing from SSC, but it's good to know where some messages have gone... haha

I know coupon codes nullify the free shipping but do reward points do so as well?

I would say no, I tried the gift card from the star wars for the single Hall of armor and still gave me the free shipping. It came out to $104 shipped.

It's safe to apply reward points and cancel if you don't want to use them? It looked different from apply a coupon code so I wasn't sure if I applied them, that I would have to use them. Was gonna use a large amount so I didn't want it to go to waste.

If you apply points to an order, they are locked in as used. You cancel that order, you lose your points. Its best to only use points on an order you know you won't cancel (ie points pay the item's price in full).

Thanks for saving me a bunch of points, haha. I was worried that if I would try it and find out, something bad might happen. So I take it the free shipping stays then?

You can not use any type of discount with the free shipping per the terms listed on the SS website.

Please note the restrictions: Free U.S. Shipping promotions cannot be used on flex pay items (since the final payment will be after of the promotion’s end date), unless otherwise stated on a products page, or wait list fulfillment orders. Kind of a bummer that you can't get free shipping and use reward points. Someone in the Wolverine thread today was able to get both double reward points (earned) and free shipping. So why not free shipping and (using) reward points?
