All these social media contests don't feel at all like part of a special event and the majority of people that enter them are not Sideshow customers, the majority of them have never bought something from their website. Sideshow needs to go back to the old Spooktacular format on their website.

Yeah it's a cluster ****. I don't even bother with all those #tweets contests. I go cross eyed looking at the feeds and comments. Some people look like whores too.

I preferred the games and puzzles they had on their site, but whatever. The codes are good enough for me.

How do you know if they are customers or not? They are giving away stuff for free. Stop complaining you didnt get any.

And the Captain Marvel from Marvel is a dude so I'm confused. Yet another Marvel hero gender change ala Thor?

There have been three(?) female with the Captain Marvel mantle since the 1980s, Carol Danvers being one of them.

There have also been a number of male Captain Marvels since the 80s. So why are we assuming female?

There have been 7: Mar-Vell, Monica Rambeau, Genis-Vell, Phyla-Vell, Khn'nr, Noh-Varr, Carol Danvers, given that Danvers is the main character confirmed, I wouldn't be shocked if Marvel didn't try to nodge in a Ms. Marvel reference to continue to broaden their universe.

During one of their contests, Sideshow asked what was your first Sideshow collectible, more than half said their first was on preorder or that they haven't bought something because it wasn't in stores yet, many of the others said their first was something that came out within the past year which I suspect was a quick lie to enter the contest. And I've won quite a lot of stuff from Sideshow.

Just because they dont buy SSC product doesnt mean they dont shop there. I never orded anything made by SSC, just HTs. I suspect many people are in the same boat.
