I'd like to say hot toys would probably focus on characters that haven't been done or haven't really had any made to avoid saturating the market with too many of a character because that's not how HT rolls......*snort*

They've announced a new Indiana Jones too: Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Sixth Scale Figure | Sideshow Collectibles

I hope they work on that Indy figure. Temple of Doom is my least favorite Indy movie (Crystal Skull doesn't exist) so I will probably pass. I wouldn't mind a Hot Toys set from Last Crusade with Indy and Henry Jones.

I always liked Temple of Doom and to this day I don't understand the bad rep it has. The opening fight / musical number is amazing, the antagonistic chemistry between Indy and his romantic interest is fun to watch, I liked Short Round, and it was nice to get away from Christian mystical relics for a change.

Sideshow has been saying for almost half a decade that they were developing a 1/6 body for Short Round. I can only hope they're showing off TOD Indy because Short Round is finally ready.

It actually looks like they got the sculpt correct. Every time I see Ford sculpted it's never great, so I'm excited to see this in more detail.

I'm actually really surprised to see Sideshow get back into the Indiana Jones arena. The Last several offerings they had did not sell well at all. It will certainly be interesting to see how they manage this going forward.
