I hadn't heard about this. Was this an official announcement from either company? Meaning we won't see a Darth Vader from HT, in example?

Not mixing. Limiting myself to Hot Toys just so I don't go completely in the poor house. If I mixed I would want everything OT.

Yes and no. I plan to pick up ht humans. My ss boba and jango are fine, as well as Vader, grievous and other nonhumans.

It doesn't mean that, because releasing ANH Vader would not overlap anything current from Sideshow. And yes, I'm pretty sure both companies have come out and stated something to the effect of them working in a complimentary fashion. Sideshow is responsible for the bulk of Hot Toys worldwide sales after all (direct and distributed).

^^^ Only the main characters I think. Han, Chewie, Stormtroopers, Vader, luke, Leia, C3PO & RD-D2 possibly? Lando, Boba, Palpatine, Yoda, maybe TIE fighter pilots? Those are the most likely possibilities.

Completely agree, and I have indeed cancelled all my HT pre-orders. Sales and codes only from now on.

I don't mind mixing if they're both done well. SS does great aliens and droids!
HT does great armored and human characters.
