IF there is a November code, it wont be around for a couple weeks. Its likely we wont see anything until December though...

Good morning all, it was nice to get some sleep last night and not worry about missing any codes. This year was fun with the social media aspect but I missed hunting the website for codes for sure.
I agree with a couple saying it's not the fake codes but the people that were calling CS about a $5 code that are going to ruin it. We are all busy professionals with families and some of us choose to put that life on hold to try and save 50-80 dollars (I bill out at 125 an hour so really is it worth it). I know everyone likes free stuff but people need to put it in perspective. $5 is one less starbucks latte in your day.
I come here during these events yes to help me with codes but more so for the banter, the playfullness and the fun that is chatting with other collectors. It is the same reason I go to shows, so I can meet people, talk to people that have a similar passion and have some fun.
Pixel, I saw your post and yes those were the only 3 tweets that Chicky posted about it and it was yesterday at 1PST that it was mentioned. Once I posted it here (not everyone follows Freaks twitter account so would not have seen it) yes some codes were still posted but they were all posted with the disclaimer that it was a fake code (minus a couple really obvious ones that were running jokes).
Congrats to all that won items (can I borrow your horseshoe?) and thank you to all that helped make this a great event.
Thank you to the Sideshow staff that work their asses off for a week to help bring us this event and for all they do through out the year.

This thread was really useful and had low traffic and then got turned into a mad house. Personally I stopped coming in here because of all the useless banter and fake codes. I have been a part of several spooks so I knew what was going on but I could see how noobs would be confused. I was annoyed because I would have to read several pages forward and back to clarify if I was actually missing anything. This hobby has had a rush of new people and I have already seen the new breed born of high and unlimited es is very lazy and wants everything handed to them so its no surprise I'm sure they were calling SS CS and blowing it up. Anyway, Im glad its over, this was hot toys spook year and as a statue collector this was a very uneventful year.

Just as a point of fact, so is IRC. I used to use it heavily back in 1991/92, but haven't spent any time since maybe 1995. I think the point was that even FB/Twitter are membership segregated. Not at all the same thing as simply visiting Sideshow's actual site.

Agreed. Any other event where Sideshow gives out reward points/promo codes (Black & White Friday, 12 Days of Sideshow) needs to be private or invite only, IMO.
