i wish sideshow added some better stuff, was all hyped up by their emails suggesting a big blackfriday. Turned out to be the same crap day in day out, even cyber monday is still the same crap. Oh wellz, i still got a bunch hot toys junk but would be nice to see some discounts on the sideshow original items where they are making bank on. Would pushed me to order on a few pieces, as of now, no hurry.

Yes, if the item has been up for 2 to 3 months.

You said $20 code. They can be used on anything older than 2 to 3 months. 20% though, only certain items and not on preorders.

I always said that if I could pick these up together for around $250-$275 then I would do it. So I did Considering that the average Hot Toys figure is selling for around $200-$250 these days this felt like a steal to get both for $260 shipped.

Yeah. I meant to say wasn't included. There's a link on the first page for this month's $20 code that supposedly lists all the items eligible (which are only in-stock). Just wanted to make sure.

Was contemplating Raiden EX or the Han + Chewie EX... but might just wait until release after seeing how stocked up SS gets with HTs now.

Monthly code now works on HT Han, HT Chewbacca, and Scout Trooper. Just got my Chewie order updated.

Yeah, that's exactly why I posted that. It would be good PR for them, and would be a nice way to give stuff they want to unload to kids who'd appreciate it, instead of someone who'd just abuse the promotion.

I can't believe how NOTHING has sold out with 25%-30% discounts, free shipping and 10-15% reward points, plus 10% discount already applied to the base price on many items. Puts lots of figures about 50% off when you add all that up.

This all means they just really over produced, all the collectors already have the items so there is no one left to sell them to, even at 2010 pricing!

I have put all pre-ordering on hold now, I figure the chances of an item not being available after release and having to pay a small markup is offset by the number of figures that will be at 20%-40% discounts down the road.

I wish I wanted some of the stuff they have left over. I'm not sure I'd take B&R or Mandarin or Veteran Clone even if they were 70% off. Maybe they will be after Xmas.



Is this -- G033LE14 -- this month's code? Someone said it worked on Chewbacca. I thought that was Nov's code?

Sideshow donates every year to various local and non-local organizations, drives, etc with product and/or otherwise (such as the charity auction that occurs once or twice every year).
