Tried the "NEWYEAR15" code again for the 2nd day in a row and it didn't work. Got the message it's expired, WTF!!! I figured I'd buy something since a figure I was expecting to ship this week is tied up in the Long Beach port mess for who knows how long. Hopefully they'll post a monthly code before the figure I want is sold out. If not, they won't see any money from me till May at the earliest. Get on it SS.

Contact our Customer Service department with the item you want to purchase. They will confirm if that item is eligible and if it is can apply it to an order for you. I'm not sure why folks are getting an expired message. The code is active and good to use even as I type this. I'm sorry that it's not working correctly for you though. Is the code still active or otherwise? Cuz I tried placing an order and although it was applied successfully, it was removed at the final checkout on the grounds that the code had expired.

All I'm saying is a SSF thread about discount codes isn't an appropiate place to suggest someone may be being 'Shady' on another forum.

Something similar happened on an Iron Man thread recently, something to do with Facebook, and comments were removed as it had nothing to do with this forum.

Agreed... while airing dirty laundry can be helpful, it needs to be done appropriately.

1) Either contacting a mod or admin and informing them of the situation

2) Starting a dedicated thread, this one is not ideal... but it has been helpful in the past when we've learned of problem members from other boards.

But following airing dirty laundry in an unrelated thread is not okay.

I was having the issue of the code showing the discount on the check-out screen, then saying it was expired after I confirmed the purchase. Then I went back tried it again, the code still said it was valid and the transaction went through, but the code had disappeared. I left a message with CS, so hopefully I can get it resolved... not the end of the world if it isn't, but I love those $20 off coupons

I say just ban the guys who are signing up and trying to lynch jjj. I'm not taking up for what he may have done, but it's annoying to see that on this board. How does a dude with a feedback score of 22 get these types of people freaking out anyways? Either way, I hope they take it somewhere else.

I would try clearing your browser cache and cookies or trying from a browser you've never used on Sideshow before. I've had problems with the Sideshow shopping cart doing weird things to me before based on my browser history there. But no issues using the code on C-3PO yesterday.

Does anyone know what happens if I ordered an item with an NRD with all rewards points, except for $5 short? Will it take the uncovered $5 out immediately as an NRD?

NEWYEAR15 worked for me. It was removed but I got an option on the final checkout page if I wanted to apply a coupon and I went ahead with it. Turns out it was still good.
