I remember when it used to be "hurry to pre-order before they sell out" and now it's like, "meh, show me the discounts first and then we will pre-order" I guess HT made their big bucks the past couple of years that they could care less about exclusivity and just mass produce now for the big buck

I remember it too. Sitting on the computer watching a countdown clock so you can put in your pre-order and sometimes getting a white screen. A lot of swearing and yelling at the computer at that time. Then, when you get your order in, hoping that you don't get the dreaded W meaning you were on the waitlist. I remember things selling out in minutes!

I just got Heartbreaker, it's badass up close. My favorite of the "suits that you saw for 3 seconds or less" from Iron Man 3.

Speaking off Spooktacular.... what figures do you think or hope will be up for discount during the event?

Hopefully Falcon, Winter Soldier, Cap Two Pack, Loki, Chitauri, SSC Superman, Battle Droids, Hoth Han, Hoth Luke, Taun Taun, Batman Armory

I'm hoping for the Winter Soldier, and I would definitely be in for a deal on the Batman armory.

I hope the die cast Robocop gets a big discount. I want one, but that $300.00 price tag is a lot to swallow.

Yeah I'd like to get the batman armory for extra rewards & 20% offbut that probably wont happen coz they want to get rid of Alfred first. Definitely waiting for discounts for falcon & wolverine DOFP. Just got TASM2 figure with 20% off.

I thought that usually during Spook most of the sales were on horror or monster type figures and statues. Or something related to "black" or "dark" or whatever. Spook isn't like it used to be so I didn't pay a lot of attention to it last year. I miss the Spook box and official chat.

I got the Hulk Banner set, MOS Superman, 1966 Robin, and 15" Chucky last year. I think the sales are for all figures SSC is willing to discount.

I doubt that Wolverine will get any deals this year. If it's still around next year, then it probably will be. SS would be shooting themselves in the foot if they do discounts too early. Everyone would be just waiting around then and not buying anything ahead of time.

^^^^ that's exactly how I feel now! I don't Pre order anymore, I'll just wait for the discount, Double or Bonus rewards, Free shipping. I paid Full price for Robocop Diecast and now I could've bought him for more rewards
I'm waiting on Wolverine DOFP to get some sort of deal and then I'll get him.

Last year I had BD Terminator from T1 on PO and then out of the blue SSC were doing a promotion. I cancelled and reordered with double or triple rewards

I'd rather preorder so I can utilize the flex pay option. Even though it's the same amount of money it seems like it's easier to justify if it's only forty or fifty bucks per month

Usually "Now shipping" items can be Flexed for 2 payments and still take advantage of the offers

I could spend all day listing thing I would like to be cheaper but it would be a boring read and pretty futile
