Custom 13" Iron Man

Tried going with all-metal for this at first (red sections at least) but ended up using molded leather instead. Molding the leather takes a lot of time and patience (there's a whole process to it) but it gave a cleaner look while still looking solid enough to represent armour. Have to use real leather to mold, though, which is expensive. Mask is real metal... went for a retro look. Had to sand the base head's face down to accomodate the gold face plate.

Looking good. My only critique is that it looks like you have the Mark 3 Mask:

On the Mark 5 styled body.

While there is a variation of the Mark 3 that has that kind of body the chest portion is a little more complex.

Maybe a rework of the mask to bring it all together into one Mark variation? Unless this is a custom original styled thing then never mind....

Thanks for the suggestion. I use the design elements I like. I'm not married to one artist's style or duplicating a style guide.
