I always liked bearded Superman. Dude grew up on a farm in Kansas - he'd have a ****ing beard. And he wouldn't go from a blue collar job to a white collared one at a newspaper in the city.

Geez the guy has like four identities. It's no wonder he's so hard to write - Kal-El, Smallville Clark, Metropolis Clark, and Superman. Id really like to see a story focus on smallville clark and kal-el and leave the red and blue suit out of it. The struggle between anonymous farmtown life or king (?) of an alien race. Man that'd be better. I need to write that down lol

you kinda get that in "Superman: For all Seasons" by Jeph Loab and Tim Sale. really great superman story.

well i have top one on its way and requested a lil darker/fuller beard so we'll see when it gets here. like you said....someone needs 2 get the hair right tho
