Must have missed the intro last week, its great how they tailored it from the "hood" to "arrow" like switching chapters.

The ending was great, glad to see it come full circle like that and considering where and with whom Malcolm was with while he was away, it now makes his glade scheme have much more purpose in the DCU scope. I think the second season is going to top the first and the first was great. :clap:clap:clap

It also explains his youthful appearance.

Anyone else catch the name of the ship Oliver was on at the end of the show? Amazo. Another little DC reference.

Also noticed a lot of 52 references in the show tonight. New 52 DC universe?

Hope this means there is a chance to keep expanding the DC universe and get a proper Bruce Wayne appearance.

I assume that was Brother Blood in the preview for next week. I like the look of the mask.

Writers writing like they actually care about the show. Refreshing! Seems like they've planned alot of this in advance, I love the continuity.

My only qualm was the fact that Oliver and Laurel didn't act like they just spent an entire night at a heavy metal concert right next to the speakers. :lol

:exactly: yup I noticed that as well. Don't know if you guys notice the dollmaker's lawyers name.....Tony Daniel. It's in reference to the comic book artist and the creator of The Dollmaker. Nice little easter egg.

I said a while ago (during season 1) it would just blow everything out of the water if they brought in Bruce Wayne, not Batman, in for a guest appearance. Have him watch Oliver, may be before he returns to Gotham have him let on he knows he's really the GA and he's got a secret too.

If they do a Justice League film this series could really be as big a basis for it than Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy or the MoS films.

Are you guys talking about the ninja that BC killed? Who was that? He didn't look familiar to me.

He was with Ras Al Ghul? Did I miss something or forget something from last season? :lol

Highly trained assassin, much younger looking than he should be, scheme to destroy a crime ridden part of the city. Once the name was dropped, the association became more than obvious.

:exactly:

Although I knew this didn't sync up with the Nolan trilogy, in my head I needed to hear his name to know he was alive and active. Glad it finally got thrown out there.

I know this is only a "well rated for CW" show, but I can't believe more people don't tune in for this, this is definitely one of my most awaited shows each week.

Holy ****, this show is amazing; I was a few episodes behind when a friend texted me and told me that there was a huge name drop; I was not disappointed. I really hope that DC has enough faith in these guys to let them do their own thing; I hate the way they handled Smallville, where certain characters couldn't appear due to their film division. I'm praying that this revelation of a Ra's means that's not going to happen here.

Honestly, this is the type of world building they need., and people shouldn't count them out just yet. I'm one of the ones who liked Man of Steel, but, if they could get their **** together and have Batman/Superman be as much a critical success as a financial one, and they keep this up with Arrow, I firmly believe that they could still win the "war" that all of the fanboys talk about with Marvel (though, personally, though I have have my preference, I still enjoy both).

Think about it, the Arkham games are pretty much the only licensed games to be taken seriously as contenders with AAA titles over the past few years, WB's animation division is renowned for its stable of high quality television shows and films that it continues to put out, and, after the New 52 and the rise of digital DC seems to have a lid on print, as well, so, with all of that being said, imagine if DC came back with not one, but two, well oiled and cohesive universes for both the silver screen and the small screen. What if "The Flash" was only the beginning and we got a separate TV Justice League althewhile Affleck and Cavill and the other versions were busting the box office?

I just caught this week's episode, and every week I am more and more impressed in how amazing this show is getting. This is some quality television people, and dares to go where other shows never go. Every week is ***** to the wall action. Whatever reservations people ever had about it - I urge you to check it out.

I think its found its niche this season. Last year, I was torn. It was like two shows in one. There was the Arrow stuff going on, character/rogues gallery building with needed drama and tension surrounding Ollie...then there was like Arrow90210 with love triangles and little sister doing drugs, and forced tension, etc...

Now, its flowing like one solid show. Great writing, great action, more resonable drama.

I really hope they can figure out how to include Oliver's stepdad into a bigger part of the equation. I really like the guy and miss him being a regular.

Man, I love this show! I caught up on Season 1 in a week-long binge. And then I watched the three episodes of season 2 on my DVR. I really love the way the show has evolved in season 2. Every show should be so bold to really shake things up season to season. And the way they are introducing all the various elements has been great.
