In fact, it's actually really weird to me that Cold is so ruthless. I seem to recall the Rogues actually having a "no killing" code in the books, if I'm not mistaken.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure some of them kill. As far as the Rogue, Capt Cold is the leader of the Rogues. He's no joke in the comics. He has a no-drugs rule. He almost killed Mirrow Master for using Cocaine. He's against senseless violence and will kill only on certain occasions, but it's true, the Rogues have a "code of honor" and part of it refusing to kill women and children, something TV Cold was about to do :slap

They also have rules about not needlessly killing cops or superheroes, so, when you add that to "women and children," that's pretty much "no killing," since, if they don't kill cops, I doubt they'd go around freezing Investment bankers and Mailmen.:lol I went back and wikied it for a refresher, and the only instances where they've seemingly killed (the original "core" rogues, anyway), were accidental (in the case of Bart Allen), or for revenge (Cold murdering the man who killed his sister).

Yeah they have a no kill code. Not out of morality, but because they eventually get that Flash can stop em. So if they rob a bank, no killing or potential of fatalities, it does not occupy flash as a priority.

I like the actors but you are right. It's too serious.

Awesome episode, those 2 dudes playing heat wave and cap cold sure have zero charisma though, their dull costumes don't help though.

Yea a bit.

They also had the opposite thing going on: Heat Wave = hot head. Cold = cool and collected.

How, in this episode is Flash so damn slow where he runs into the frozen objects that Cold freezes? Also, how is two normal humans with normal speed able to aim their weapons at Flash and almost hits him? Shouldn't he punch their lights out like they are standing still, cause he sure can clean a room up with file papers and boxes everywhere in less than a second. This is the part of the show that pisses me off.

That's in any comic. It's also no different than Queen getting stuck on something and a flashback helps him out.

Also consider his priority was to cross the weapons. So he was paying attention to their shooting more so than his surroundings. Also consider he doesn't exactly have super speed at the highest and consider the closed space, it's not going to be an epic fight. Only reason he went Mach 1 was because of Iris. He didn't exactly have that here.

I think I'll get dragged back into this show, simply based on the Prison Break reunion alone. :lol

I didn't like either of the 2 villains, I never could take them seriously, that dude playing heatwave was so over the top it was funny instead of intimidating, the same happened when he played Dracula in Blade 3, he's just like a kid acting tough to me :lol

Check him out in Prison Break or a show called 'John Doe'. 'John Doe' is still one of my favorite shows of all time. Ended WAY too soon.

I could not help thinking, as I watched the episode, why didn't flash just speed up and take the guns from their hands?

I have to admit, they overlook many easy fixes because Flash is literally too fast for any of his regular foes, they shouldn't be able to even see him coming, it makes for some dumb situations indeed, but the show itself is so fun that I'm willing to overlook those few situations.

The train rescue has been by far the best showcase of Flash's power so far.

Exactly, he should not even get hit by a normal person. He shouldn't have been getting his ass kick in almost every episode. Look at all he did in the first episode superfast and now he is so damn slow.

Apparently they are going to do something with Prison Break. Loved the show, interested to see what they do.

That could be awesome. Throw Cold, Heat, Clockmaster, and Count Vertigo together at Belle Reeve and you've got a great starting point for a Prison Break - super villains edition. They all have different abilities and skills than they did on PB. It would be nice to not see Captain Cold as the one with the plan. More likely T-Bag would be the ringleader this time.
