I guess most likely this will be a PPO rather than a newsletter preorder. What do you guys think?
If it's PPO, then the EX es must be low.. Maybe below 500?

This will be the 1/5 scale pose and costume for the comiquette line! That's the modern X-MEN line. SS should just make this exact same pose and costume. The comiquette would look great! Sorry about your PF guys. Jim Lee's Cyke costume design was horrible.
I don't completely agree with your age break-down, Wookie. I am 30 and am most fond of the X-Men comics from the pre-Lee period of the mid-late 80s (when I started reading). Lee didn't come into the scene until I was 9 or 10 (I think). I understand that many folks my age got into X-Men during Lee's period and when the cartoon came out, but not all. And certainly, many 25 year olds are probably too young to have encountered Lee, just like many folks my age didn't get into comics at the early age that I did.
I do think the newer focus on "modern, realistic" designs kind of sucks, though.
I think you are mixing up your eras. The modern comiquette will NOT sport the 90's bomber jacket as an EX! But...a light up visor or an unmasked head would make a kick a$$ EX. More than likely though...we will get a fantastic print instead.
What are you talking about. We buy them for the prints. The statues are just lagniappe they throw in.

It all depends when you started reading comics.. I think SS is doing the wise thing. look at the target age groups.
Bryne-era 35+ years old reading comics at that time
Jim lee era- 25-35 years old
Modern era - 20-25 year old. (kids that have no money to buy collectibles) The only way that have money is if they live at home and pay no rent.
Look at the age group of the forums i'm guessing 25-35. JIM LEE = $$$$
Sorry those poses are ghey. The costume are boring, if you like that style im sure you love the movie adaptations also, which work for film. But not for comics, and COMIC BOOKS!...
I would buy a Luke cage in a yellow pimp shirt, big hair and a giant chain around his neck.... Then some random BLACK GUY dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. Heck i see Luke cage everyday!. What i'm saying is this keep this line for people who read comics and keep it classic. The thing with older costumes is that they tell a story, the designs show off and highlight the characters super powers. New modern designs have stripped those characteristics, which kinda sucks.
Agreed!we're the age bracket with the $$$. that's why it's jim lee
