:pray::pray:

Nice pic! :clap

Iv been waiting for sideshow to start making the X Men, The avengers were a good starting point and judging by what they did with Gambit, this PF line will rock. I cant imagine passing up a Jim Lee Cyclops or Rogue, this is what being a comic fan collecting is all about, this is gonna be a good year.

Ooooooo....This story is getting good. Cyclops is coming in October.

Thanks for the update.

They better hurry...judgement day is upon Colossus comiquette. We'll see if there's any dynamics between the two...like the first X-Men vs Sentinel #1.

Noooo....I am thinking its the comiquette. D'Oh! Tell me Fuzzy is not referring to the PF?

Of course he is talking about the PF...what else??? It is the only Cyclops piece that has been shown so far...JIM LEE CYCLOPS PF

the sneak looks great, i just really hope sideshow starts making all their marvel statues the same scale. Really sucks that they haven't done so already.

To tell the truth the scale "issue" is becoming quite boring lately...why do people want every piece produced in 1/4??? how many pieces that size can you really display in your shelves??? Anyways, each and every (I think so) PF so far is in 1/4. The only inconsistency has been with the Comiquettes, but even in that format there are different lines....so I don't think the preoblem is Sideshow not sticking to one scale, but people not sticking with one line

For me personally, I just want the X-men in 1 scale so they display well together and 1/5 scale is just a step up from Bowen scale and a tad too small for me. I don't want my Gambit to tower over Colossus. It's all preference bro, if you are into multi scale displays or have many rooms to split up the different scale I guess it should not matter, but it shatters the illusion for me. That and the fact that I got to be more selective with what I buy with Sideshow massively pumping different scale out cos I'm aiming for a 2 room display and I don't like clutter. I guess everyone is different.

I can't wait for the Jim Lee PFs to all be done so we can display them together.

I am not sure what you mean by lines here, there is only one Marvel Comiquette line. There are no Comiquettes for other licences.
Sideshow can't keep the Comiquette line in the same scale so it there is no point sticking to Comiquettes for people like me since having a Collossus comiquette be 3 inches smaller than a Hulk PF, or Venom massively over sizing DareDevil makes for a hokey dislplay.
There is not a massive difference in the space taken up by a 1/5 or 1/4 scale statue, they share around the same footprint and are only a few inches different in height, so why not make them the same scale?

You didn't get my point or I didn't explain myself in the best way.

There is the PF line, which is in 1/4 scale, and then the Comiquettes which, the way I see it, is formed by several lines:

-Adam Hughes' ladies (1/5)
-Brookes' line (also 1/5)
-Olivetti's Spidey Universe (1/4)
-Other Olivetti pieces: Punisher, Hulk (1/5)
-Women of Marvel (1/5)

Now my point is that if scale is what bothers people, why the hell don't you stick with one line??? Eventually you will see your character done in it...unless your problem is that you want Comiquettes in 1/4 or PFs in 1/5, but you can't always have everything, can you?

The number of statues that can be displayed in my shelves is besides the point for me. I don't necessary only display marvel PFs together. I want marvel comiquettes, PFs and even maquettes to all be the same size. Unless they do special sizes that are really different in scale, like 1/2 scale or 1/1 life size scales. Those have huge size difference from the other statues and that is fine.

However, to have one statue be 2-4" inches unproportional to another one, just looked weird and out of place. Why would anyone need slightly bigger statue from another? That looks awkward when put side by side, but not really a huge difference in scale? And collecting one line is a silly answer. I want to display my PF and comiquette together, because I like the poses. The comiquette line of the same character might not come out as nice or in a good pose as the PF (for example).

I understand, but these pieces are not made just for you. Many people prefer different scales

Because you like the poses...right.

Again Comiquettes and PFs are not always meant to go together because they are two different formats, two different kinds of collectible, as simple as that.

That's a valid point, but at the flip side comiquettes can't even display well with one another. Even comiquettes of the same line are of different scale (look at BAH! Mystique and Black cat).

Meanwhile, 1/4 scale comiquettes are great to display with PFs. Spidey PF + Ironman comiqutte for instance goes great.

Good points joseph but then there are also 1/4 scale (or close) comiquettes not in that list: Silver Surfer, Wolverine, Namor, BIB/Iron Spidey, Mystique, Elektra, Punisher. These don't fit any of those categories. I do like both PFs and comiquettes but I just don't have the space or wanting to display stuff 1/4 and 1/5 stuff together.

Are you working on a multi-scale display or just displaying the scales separately? If you are doing either, you're right, scale should not be an issue for you. But if it isn't then you won't mind having everything in the same scale either.

Anyways, Sideshow has decided to move on with 1/5 scale comiquettes and prints so there's no point debating anymore, just for us to buy what we like. As long as the 1/5 scale version does not delay or halt production of any 1/4 scale due to popularity. Hope it works out well for everyone.
