There was 2 problems with the reveal by SSC.

1.) That EX head is just flat out hideous! I mean, BAD fugly kind of hideous. For people that didn't like the Thanos face portrait, this is far worse. Thanos is at least an UGLY dude. Scott is not.

2.) SSC should have shown pics without the jacket. This could convince people who don't PFs (like me) to possibly buy this because it could be displayed as a 1/4 scale comiquette.

It's a shame this didn't turn out as good as I thought it would. Gambit came out all kinds of good. Displaying this Cyke next to him will just magnify how much this piece lacks.

:goodpost::1-1:

Im sure u can, it would be hard to package with it on his hand. Too fragile for packaging, Would be cool:yess:

I'm going to guess that the glasses will be glued on. that's the reason why you can see silver paint on his fingers.

If Sideshow doesn't make any changes after all of the negative comments then they are taking another step back.

Is there a precedent for Sideshow making a change such as that after a groundswell of detractors? I don't remember seeing or hearing about them doing anything like that.

I for one am looking forward to him! Its the final preorder countdown! :yess::rock2:rock2 (sung of course in rockin 80's falseto)

:exactly: Then when the piece is released and they see in hand photos there will be all the posts like, "it's really no that bad in hand" or "did they change this or that because it looks different and better than the production photos."

Same moaning and groaning, different piece.:lecture

I'll get him regardless because I'm a huge X-men fan and love the light up functionality. Don't really care for the Ex head but I'll be displaying the Reg anyways. They set the ES too high too, 400 would have been a decent number but that don't matter.

I think the sculpt is so-so only TBH, he didn't blow me away like Gambit. His upper torso looks pretty good but there is something wonky about his legs (maybe the length or positioning, can't put my finger on it.) His underwear isn't Jim Lee accurate too, they should go all the way if they are gunning for a certain look at least. The print looks great and is a nice bonus for my coffee table book.

Besides that, he's not bad but I'm not as Cyked about him as I should be.

Be careful what you wish for. If so, they would probably give Havok his horrible 1990s outfit, as well, instead of the much cooler and more iconic design from the 60s-80s.

There hasn't been a Havok costume that I haven't liked. His original black costume is my favorite, but I liked his redesigned costume for X-Factor too (check out my avatar).
