Dagobah Luke and Yoda PF

I say wow!!!

Luke's training with Yoda defines the OT for me. I'm very excited to add this piece to my Vader and Obi-Wan.
I may be more excited about this than I am about the fact that Greivous will be here very soon.

Now I have to decide if I'm going to pick up an ANH Luke like I had originally intended. I didn't catch on to the line until Vader. But I'm definately caught.

Could some kind Sideshow rep leak me some more pictures please?

I am gonna have to second this.... I'm very excited about this one. Having been raised on ESB and not ANH, the moment that defined Luke as a character in my eyes was his training on Dagobah. For this very reason I passed on the old Luke PF... I knew that eventually they would do another one and on my budget, I cannot afford multiples on characters.

I do understand my fellow collector's in their disappointment, as I understand that this will be Luke number 3 from SSC... and no villian rep besides Vader.. But.... This PF looks sweet IMO...

I love the pose, and I'm sure that the base will be sick. Top that off with Dusty's reassurance that the Exclusive is gonna "Rock the House"... Makes me happy. I'll be ordering this one for sure.

As for the exclusive... R2 would be sweet... so would Yoda's house. I don't think that the Vaders head with Lukes face would be the right way to go... not until the 12 inch version is released... would work better as the exclusive there.

I already have the PF exclusive Luke so I am not sure I will preorder this one. But I am weak and I do love Yoda.

I'd love the exclusive to include R2 that would make it a must have for me. I really like R2. I'm gonna end up getting this my intial shock was that we where getting another Luke so soon.

Even still another Luke now just is too soon IMO. This needed to be at least another 4-5 PF down the line. I'm more than likely gonna get it mainly because this may be the only Yoda PF piece we get and I know the detail in it will be amazing. I just not as jazzed as normal as I would be with another Luke coming so soon.

I totally agree with Josh, not really all that jazzed b/c for me this PF doesn't make ANY sense; where's Lando, Fett, Maul, hell I'd even settle for a damn Lobot at this point, any NEW character would have been a far better PF choice. This is a great moment in the film but should be far down the PF line...

So far, I really like the look of this one. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics so that we can get a better view of Luke's face, but I really like what I can see of the pose. I always loved the Yoda-training-Luke scenes. Finances permitting, I think I'll probably be getting this one!

I am right with you on that (minus the exclusive Luke), I expect to see a fairly strong current of Lukes on eBay ... as if they weren't already stockpiling.

Well, what this has going for it is that it is a nice stand alone piece. It displays well as it captures a classic moment.

Don't collect PF's, but Luke n Yoda look pretty damn good.

Don't get me wrong, I hope this piece ends up being awesome. I passed on farmboy Luke because I wasn't going to get into the PF line. That and he loks like....well I am not going to get into that again.

I got Vader cause I got an awesome deal. Vader led to Ben (and another great deal, God Adam rules). But Pf's lead to fear of the dark side of collecting -debt.
Debt leads to anger. Anger leads to suffering.

Well at least my wallet suffering.

Being as I plan to pick all these up anyway I don't mind not getting the heavy hitters right away. I would love the Fetts, Palpatine, Maul and Troopers but I'll take what I can get. As for hitting them out of the park, so far so good.:chew

I think most of the reaction is due to the character choice, not the quality of the piece. Years from now, when this is but one piece among many, I bet it will be one that a lot of people will point to as a favorite.

As some have mentioned, Sideshow does work on multiple pieces at the same time...I think we just witnessed Luke stepping up to the plate and filling a gap in the schedule.

I'm sure Fett is coming soon. I have forseen it. :emperor

So one promising thing about the ESB Luke/Yoda, is that they are in the right film now for that. Though I need to complete my ANH gang.
