Agreed. Sideshow needs to standardize their comiquette line a little better. One of their biggest f'ups on this line was the 1/5 scale Hobgoblin. Why??? All other Spidey pieces are 1/4 scale.

That's exactly the point, I would be hugely game for the Hobogoblin while having all the existing pieces with the Spiderman PF's, Green Goblin and even the Com's since they are all 1/4. It would of been perfect, but nooooo 1/5, are you SERIOUS that's going to look real funny with people coming over asking me "who used the shrink gun on your Hobo?"

I understand the rational if you've been collecting for a long time and have a certain scale for most of your statues, I'm no where near that so right now I simply collect what I personally like and worry about how it's going to all piece together later. Again totally understandable for a seasoned collector.

I am a seasoned collector and I have both scales. A seasoned collector should have enough of each scale to display them well with their respective scales. To write off a scale completely is questionable, no matter one's experience.
But, I admit that I accept it even if I don't exactly get it.

That's how I prefer it too honestly. But, I'm not gonna write of a righteous piece of statuary because it's 1/5. Heck, I still have plenty of Bowen pieces, SS dios, GG and Moore pieces that aren't anywhere near that large. Quality is quality. Scale is scale. Apples and oranges, yo. Now I am feeling like a busted record. Sorry.

It will ALWAYS be 1/4 fully sculpted that I prefer. However, I'll take a great looking 1/5 comiquette over any 1/4 sculpt wearing felt or spandex. An awesome fully sculpted piece is my priority, regardless of scale.

No Bro. I'm passing on the X-MEN PFs. The only one I like is Gambit. I really don't care for PFs that much. All the cloth just drives me nuts. I'm not feeling the rest of the X-men PFs either. Don't like the pose or the EX head on Cyke. Cloth just Kills the Wolvie and Sabretooth PFs IMHO.
As for Rogue, I really dig my AH! Rogue comiquette. I have all the X-Babes in the AH! line. Those are good enough for me.

filip if you are a big X-men fan, you are going to regret that decision in the long run. Gambit PF is hands down the best that will ever be of the character.

I can't emphasize enough how much I HATE PFs! Not the sculpts, but the silly looking clothes they put on them. Believe me, I know what I like and what I don't like. There will be NO regrets. Especially since most, if not all of these characters, will also be released as fully sculpted comiquettes.

As much as I detest PFs, I will agree with you on the Gambit PF. He is by far the best statue of this character released. He is also sporting a fully sculpted costume. Only his jacket qualifies him as a PF. The problem I have is that I'm not a Gambit fan. I don't care enough about the character to pick him up. Besides Gambit, I also feel the Mystique PF is stunning. It is the only PF I own. I won't sell it because I love it. However, I still like the AH! comiquette just slightly more because she is wearing her classic white dress.

In the end Crysis, I buy what statues I truly love. This is why I have no regrets.

Passing on Wolvie and Sabes wasn't easy, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy them with the cloth they implemented. I tried really hard to like it even a little, but I just couldn't do it.

What I don't understand is that most say slippers, but isn't that what Sabs suit looks like even fully sculpted? That's what it looks like in this picture.

^ I like my Sabretooth PF. I think the costume is spot on, my only problem with it is that Creed should have been more bulkier. Everything else though is just fine.

I have seen Sabretooth in person, not a big fan, neither does Wolverine. The clothes does make them look cheap. But concerning, Ventress, Luke, BlackCat PF. They are masterpieces.
