I've actually wanted Grillo since The Purge, but I knew that was unrealistic with Crossbones. Same deal with Jane. Would I have liked to see him? Yeah. Did I think there was any hope of him returning to the role in the MCU? Not at all. With that in mind, I dig Bernthal because he has that sort of rough look. It's the nose, I think, more than anything.

Dude's perfect. He was great in The Wolf of Wall Street and Fury. He's got the look and going off the kind of characters he's played in the past it works.

I still think Stevenson could've been good, if he hadn't been starring in a Hard-R episode of Looney Tunes. It still boggles my mind that the same guy who starred in The Wire was that abysmal stereotype known as "Jigsaw."

Sad to see Statham acting like a *****. This series couldve helped him since he has to accept movies with Melissa McCarthy now.


I like Jon as Castle, but doesn't seem like he'd match like Stevenson and Jane. Though I did the think the same thing when I heard of the other 2.


Give him the slicked look like WoWS, and he'd be a good looking Punisher.

****ing awesome casting with a built in fanbase. I want my Bernthal Punisher figure already. Man,. season 2 will be sick!!! I love that major key plyers are being filled in the MCU. Now all we need is a new Blade and new X-Men. **** the Fantastic 4.

Jane was good but I wasn't a huge fan. I think Stevenson was perfect as Frank castle but the entire movie was a pile of ****. I'm excited for bernthal. He's a great actor and he can do gritty. Even if I didn't like him, I'm still gonna give him the benefit of the doubt until I see him on the show.

And believe it or not but Spy was actually super funny and statham was hilarious. Would love to see him as bullseye though.

I didn't think of him before but this is pretty perfect casting. He has a face that shows signs of taking a few beatings already, if he can pull off a nice New York accent then I can't think of an actor who would have been better suited to play The Punisher. Can't wait for season 2 of Daredevil.

Been a fan of Jon Bernthal's since before he was on TWD. He's got the look, he's a great actor who can play unbalanced and tough as nails really well. Really looking forward to seeing his Punisher. ****ing great choice!
