It was a very small run of about 15 pieces made by a crystal company. Have to mail them if they got any left.

Wow. Skulpturen, your collection makes me want to quit being a DC collector! Don't get me wrong, it is because it is a fact that i won't have such a rare collection and that makes me sad I just got my Urac Mindstyle figure, but it's nothing compared to that shard! I want one, who do I have to write to?

This is going to retail for $275. Is it worth it? I have most redent Dark Crystal releases, but I think the mindstyle stuff is little overpriced, especially since it doesn't have the weight of polystone; I think it's vinyl and very light weight. I'd do $180-$200. almost $300 after ship sounds a little high.

Damn. I was really hoping they'd fix what needed to be and get this last piece out. Such a shame but overall I have to applaud Plan B's effort in doing this license some justice...

Well that sucks bigtime. I was checking on plan B's site, but now that I check again, that last releases (was it one or two more?) are no longer listed. Was that last release the dying emporer? "I am still emporer, I am still emporer, I am still, ackkkkkkk"

Here's a pic, not top of the line but still would have been nice to complete.

That Plan B bust is amazing and it's devastating that we won't have it.
As for the MindStyle stuff. Yes, it's a little bit too overpriced. I got Urac last month and even though I was amazed by it, I couldn't help but feeling I had spent too much money on a "plastic" toy. And I still have to get the Landstrider, which is double the Urac's price. Anyways, the figures are amazing, top notch sculpting and painting, but it's the boxes, yes the boxes, that make these collectibles worth their price. Those are the most beautiful boxes I've seen in a while.

As for Plan B bust that was Skektek, one of the Skeksis (he was the one draining the Essence from the Pod People and Kira) but not the Dying Emporer. Skektek was to be the last bust after Garthim but they had production problems and the license expired before it could be released. I contacted Plan B months ago about buying the prototype but I got shot down...
