Wow, those look GREAT! I really like the castle with the display base/logo like that. I would have liked a movie accurate Aughra but that piece is still great looking. I'm so glad that a company is still showing this license some respect. My only wonder is why MINDstyle is releasing these under a "Jim Henson" title when they are pretty much specific to the artwork and not the film. Maybe because it still is a Henson property?

Yes, all of Froud's DC designs are still a Henson property.
I really hope they'll do some movie versions too.

Just an odd observation...

Lately, a lot of the harder to find Plan B busts have been popping up on Ebay. Last week a SkekUng ended at $153.50 and a UrYod ended at $168.55, both from the same seller. This week the same seller has another SkekUng, UrYod and this time a SkekSil the Chamberlain. There is another Chamberlain up for sale as well. If anyone's interested:

I just found this as odd since these, especially Chamberlain, don't pop up very often...

I won a mindstyles Uryac and I have to comment:

- Packaging is awesome, flip open sturdy box with clear pastic to hold figure in place.

- the statue itself is very light in weight. I know these are vinyl as opposed to polystone, which I don't mind as long as the detail is there, and it is, but shouldn't a vinyl statue cost less than a polystone one? I guess I just thought vinyl would be more easily mass produced.

I'm looking forward to future releases, but wish price would come down (unlikely now a precedence has bee set).

What are some other options for online sales besides jsut toy tokyo?

This week the same seller has another SkekUng, UrYod and this time a SkekSil the Chamberlain. There is another Chamberlain up for sale as well. If anyone's interested:

I bid for two busts yesterday, I didn't win. I gess I'll have to spend 150-200$ in each of the first three DC busts. I just bought the Garthim and the Urksek from BigBadToyStore for a good price ($34.99 each), I decided to do it now, because I don't want to pay triple for them in some months. Oh, God, these busts are SO beautiful, I hope I can get them all. I recently wrote an e-mail to Plan B toys inquiring about the DC and Labyrinth license and they told me, in other words, that the line was pretty much dead for now. Thus, it seems the Garthim and the Skektek are their last pieces from the DC licens. I wish they released a Jen and a Kira bust in the near future.

Also, they had two new Labyrinth statues planned (two riding Goblins) but they didn't go ahead with them. There was also a Jareth bust variant but David Bowie didn't approve the prototype (which is weird, because he approved the first bust, which is basically the same sculpt).

About the MindStyle statues, I'm dying to get them both, but I don't know where to buy them. I never see them on eBay, they don't have them in BigBadToyStore. The good options for international collectors are running out. I don't know where else to look. As for the new statues, WOW, the castle is impressive, I will definitely get it. The Aughra statue looks stunning, but I would've also liked a movie accurate Aughra. I am so happy MindStyle is putting so much effort and love into this line. The movie is finally getting the treatment it deserves!

Sorry you didn't win on those busts. Keep an eye out though, they seem to keep popping up lately and from the same sellers too. My suggestion is to email one of the sellers and see if they have extras they will sell outright. That's what I did last year with SkekSil and urYod and I lucked out...

I just received my first two Dark Crystal busts, the UrkSek and the Garthim. Let me say: Oh My Goodness, they're exceptional, such pieces of art for such a low price, I am in awe. I will post pictures if I can.
