Damn Josh, nice work on the Terminators. Interesting to see Ani in progress, having seen your Ani work in person, it's interesting to learn that's how it is early on, what a long journey it takes, but there is gold at the end of the rainbow

Thanks a lot Sean, it is funny to look at these rough photos. To see the steps of the paint work as they evolve. It really comes together in the end and comes out of nowhere, even for me.

I do not know how you do it man. I tried my hand at painting and it was just a disaster. How do you paint the eyes without getting the white on other parts of the face? I suck.

I'm pretty sure Josh and I have talked about this before and we do it differently, but I do head paints in layers, white first for the eyes, then do the iris and pupils, then a fleshy coat over the edge of skin just at the lower eye lids, then brown coat over the top edge for a lashes effect and highlight of shape, then I put down the skin layers.

Josh is about a billion times better though

but how? I grab the smallest thinnest paint brush I have and no matter which way I do it, colors stray into areas they are not supposed to go. IF that wasn't bad enough my pupils and irises have different non-circular shapes.

I will leave the painting to the pros.

Well, I don't know about Josh, but I had to go through years of fine art as part of my computer graphics education, so I'm used to painting in 2D and with practice, I get a littler better each time with 3D.

Thanks for the comments guys... And for those awaiting shipment... It's ALL going out Friday. I'd do it today, but sadly my bank account is negative and even if I did a transfer... nothing would be available. So just a few more days and it's done.

This is indeed excellent news. I just saw Battle Star Galactica Razor and I need that Cylon - BAD! If anyone here likes Battle Star Galactica you need to check out Razor. It brings seasons 1 and 2 together in a nice little package.

Thanks a lot guys. All those waiting on shipment, I have the addy's and am going to mail them out to you all today. Also, on the internet front.. I will have my internet back on tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

I've been on an insane roll lately, each thing I touch just seems to turn to gold. Right now I am coming to a head on several items, so lots of pics when I DO get my internet going.

Bannister, Anguish is coming along nicely too. Unpainted pics up this weekend. I put the first coat on and already it looks painful and angry.
